I consider myself more a transformation fan than a furry (basically, the process is more interesting to me than the result), but I can appreciate why most furries feel the way they do, and I have friends who are furries. I get a lot of the same ignorance they do. People (mostly) seem to be fine with someone being unique, but this type of uniqueness is somehow wrong. It's a shame that the one thing that seems to unify humanity is a staunch intolerance of anything that isn't human.
