why did the toy have 6 arms and in the show he has only 2....i thought that was the whole point of combining them, so you would have a super sized 6 armed war robot...not a giant robot with stumpy arms....i'll assume they are used in some episods when needed, lol...kind of like lion voltons shield, not allways in every episode but does show from time to time, heh
@ mztguitar this was Voltron 2. It was 3 versions of ?Voltron. They even sold the toys. I saw it with my own eyes as a child but wasn't into this one. I had the lions and vehicle one. This a Voltron also.
I thought the production house that had the rights to turn Lightspeed ElectroGod Albegas into a third Voltron series decided not to do it and so this series never saw the light of day in the US.
You're right man!! I remember all these and I know at least in my country they aired a lot of Robot series... I can't remember the names but they kicked ass
I'm sorry but this sucks. I like Go-Lion Voltron and the Vehicle Voltron but I can't get into this. The Voltron looks like Soundwave's big brother. Nothing special about him at all.
This is no voltron at all... is just another anime show from japan... I remember at least in some south american countries they aired many robot-series, really great, some of them I remember had the name written in japanese in the intro screen, they just translated it to spanish in the audio. they were great cartoons I remember we used to talked about every episode every morning before the teacher arrives to the classroom. some of them were aired like 5:00 am just before school started

voltron and robotech are garbage ,how can people really like an american company hacking up a bunch of good shows and take out all the violence and change the story and call it voltron ,its bullshit.
it's really a choice of marketing for a foreign market and making the material acceptable for that market. remember, this was the 80s, and violence and death in childrens' programming was even more frowned upon then than today. As for "hacking" the stories, WEP was given 3 anime series to work with, and decided to make them a trilogy, and created a big mythos for US kids. Remember, anime wasn't this huge thing like it is today, so just accept that there's 2 different versions and move on.
Holy whale dicks! There was a Voltron 2? I knew about the Vehicle voltron but daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaamn.

why would u call it the lost voltron if I grew up watching this!!
I think it's probably just here in northamerica that they didn't air this show!
but it's well known around the rest of the world as Arbegas or Albegas! and it's a great classic 80's cartoon!!!

WEP has got to give this the Voltron treatment (translate and bring to America). I would buy this DVD in a heartbeat if they did!

That scene kicks ass! I hope they will release some of these other "Voltrons" (Giant robots) uncut on DVD!

ARBEGAS was known in LATAM since 1987, even before, so never was a Lost Voltron.
