Davros is not dead. He's 'died' so many times before: getting shot by a Dalek, exploding and foaming, blowing up. They wouldn't kill off a character like that. I say if a Dalek can have an emergency temporal shift then so can their creator...

"It is returning from the darkness" OBVIOUSLY refers to Russel T Davies' ability to write a decent second part to a two part story (which was exterminated after the first season)

"He will knock four times" OBVIOUSLY refers to Matt Smith, knocking on David Tennant's door and saying 'Look, I've given you a few hours to say your goodbyes to everyone but you've really got to get out of here now so I can move my stuff in.'

according to imdb, john simm will return as the master. Catherine Tate will return as Donna Noble and John Barrowman will return as captain Jack. Also, Timothy Dalton will be starring as a unknown timelord. There is no notification about the actor who playes Davros to make a return. Simply a matter of looking it up...

in all the interviews i've read the words nightmares and dreams keep coming up. so perhaps it won't actually be the characters them selfs returning but the characters camoing in the doctors dream of him looking back on his life right before he regenerates.

in the end of series 2 when the cybermen and daleks were sucked into the void, the void was described as the dead space. It was also described as dark, so could it be the return of the cybermen?

I don't think so because we have already had one special with them in, but it is possible!!!

When I hear "It" my mind goes to a ship, i don't know why. But it seems more likely to me. Remember the masters "chip" Either red lady has it. The Rani or the masters wife, who went missing at the end of season 3. BUT I think that RTD might be leading us on a false trail :) Either way, love this show. In this season we need more timewar history, no question.

It will be the master. When we saw the simm master he just regenerated then he was gone for 18 months. The doctor got his hand cut off the master had the hand it is a bio match to the timelord we think the doctor could be any timelord. The master that died could have been master simm 2.0 and only been half human while the real master stayed hidden. What do you all think

1. Davros may return as Davies did say he didn't want to be known as the man who killed off the greatest villain ever. That, and it didn't actually show him die in the fire.

2. How is it possible for The Master to return, as he died in Series 3 and The Doctor Cremated his body, Hm?

It's more likely it's the Master because Davros was Series 4 and according to the BBC these specials are Series 4 so...too soon....but then again the Daleks returned every series!!!

I think it is to do with the master, and, more specifically his ring. Because near the end of the the "Last of The Time Lords" a person that has red nail varnish on picks it up from the ashes of the masters cremated body. But my questions now are;

1. who is it who picks up the ring?,

2. How did this person get to the end of the universe in the year 100 trillion? and

3. How did they get to the planet Malcassairo?
