Haha I used to love this movie when I was a kid. Id would always watch it every year around haloween to get me.excited for Christmas then I would watch it a shitload leading up to Christmas Haha Idk why cause its not that good of a movie. Probally cause it was the only Christmas movie they showed on hbo year around lol. But now when I watch its like damn I wish I could go back to that time when I was that young when id always watch this movie :(

Gotta be honest, I really hated this movie, it was too cheesy, too overdone and too predictable. Some people would probably enjoy this but it was just not for me, I kept watching hoping it'd get better..............But it didn't.

I just watched it this morning and I thought it was funny and a good film. Then I read reviews on it and I was confused as to why everyone disliked it. It wasn't a bad film.

The beginning of this film shows rich boy Ben Affleck being lonely when Christmas is coming close and his girlfriend suddenly dumps him and he doesn't want to spend the Christmas just by himself. That is pretty cool, it has serious tone in contrast to the rest of the movie, some good setup for a drama and all.

BUT, after that, it becomes total bullshit.
