I got a friend at work trying to decide between 360all and ps3 after being burned on the Wii. He is leaning towards 360 for kinect saying the tech is cool. But like you say, tech doesnt mean a thing without good software. Some people never learn.

I bought a new PC when HL2 came out.. guess when i bought my next PC? 2 months ago.

I played every damn game out there even crysis on Low/med graphic settings which is basically what a console can handle.

i totally agree with you about Doom3, Half Life2, Fear, and Crysis... after Crysis i stopped gaming on PC's and switched over to consoles more.... some games are awesome on PC but the best experience is on consoles...

I 'm a PC gamer at heart.. but i have had sega 16 bit, nintendo 8 bit, N64 and played on my brothers gamecube xbox, xbox360 ps3 wii etc.. for me consoles are to casual...not saying they are bad, far from, the games on console just arnt for me.

i 'm more of a hardcore gamer with Battlefield, Quake, Counterstrike and indie games.

And crysis 2 DirectX 11 patch comes out next week.. way to late but there are reasons for that, it's not just a dx11 patch, it comes with tools etc.

It's a huge patch and that's the reason for the delay.
