I agree with 4Kidshater. What a disappointing film altogether. I try to find something I like in every Godzilla movie, but it's really hard with this one! To be honest though, I don't really like *any* of the latest films.

haha wow i remember back in around 2005 i went to wal-mart with my brother looking for the godzilla 2000 movie then all of a sudden i found Final Wars, which i never heard of yet! and than i realized that this was supoosed to be like the last movie or something, and i liked the movie alot!!!!, i also loved the soundtrack too! i got most in my ipod now...plus i was like "wow oh my gosh' when i saw mothra and gigan fight with the music in the background, since havent fought in like 1200 years

this had to be the worst godzilla film EVER. it tried to be the matrix and failed at it. And the monster fights were what? 30 seconds? even the rodan,anguirus,and kin ceasar was like 2 or 3 minutes. this movie sucked so much. I was disappointed that this was the 50th anniversary film, a knock off of the matrix

@MrSamas35 Thats the problem, Godzilla was overpowered. You can't have a character that just plows through everything and nothing is even a challenge. It's a rather fatal flaw and not to mention, of course he plowed through them, HE HAD 30 SECONDS TO DO IT.

You are either stupid or ignorant the Heisei series was probably the BEST series ever! Millenium was great but most of its movies were sequels to the 1st movie. Showa was cool bit it was cheesy and old. Heisei introduce the best monsters of the whole franchise like spacegodzilla or desatroyah!

I went to blockbuster's to rent Godzilla Final wars. After viewing it (twice) I went back to Blockbuster's & bought it. I never did that before w/any movie. This was the best & greatest Godzilla film ever made in the history of Toho films. Even better then the original, that I will put as #2 best film. ☆☆☆☆☆

Hasn't been made yet, called "GODZILLA 3D TO THE MAX" made by the guy that made Hedorah. He will be using a similar monster named Deathla to battle Godzilla. However there are no new updates on it and some think it is abandoned. But this website says 2011 so be patient.

I Personally think CG looks good for Godzilla, However, only to the extent of the monsters that aren't suits at all (Mothra, Megaguirus, Kamakuras, Kumonga....) be allowed to do things they wouldn't normally be able to do. Like showing them flying at their actual speed... same goes for monsters like Rodan and King Ghidorah... but only when flying.

This is one of the best Godzilla movies to date (in my opinon!). It returned to the old roots of the showa series and brought back famous names like Gigan & Angurius!! Personally, I liked this movie better than Destory all Monsters because this movie highlighted all the monsters (Ok, Hedgorah only had one scene). But it had more monsters scenes than D.A.M which really had like 5 or 6 monster scenes.

Nah! The Showa was the best. Not saying anything bad about the Heisei series, but the monsters in that series could barly move a few inches. That's why half the battles were mostly breath or beam attacks. The Showa and the 2000 series were the best.

Well, I see what your getting at. They tried to make it have the same tone of the first Godzilla movie. But most of the times it seemed to be funny in a bad way. The Heisei always had those horrible plots. I know Godzilla isn't all about plots but come on. Not to mention, the plots always had a twist that makes NO SENSE. As I said before, most of the monsters in the Heisei could barley move and the battles were mostly breath or beam attacks. But I will admit GvsKG's battles were GREAT!!!

Well, I loved all three of the series. But I will admit, the heisei series's battles were pretty boring compared to the 2000's. Their were no real fights. Just mostly monster shooting breath attacks. Sure a few times they would go up close, but even then the mosnter fought like stiff puppets. Not only that, all the battles always had Godzilla get his ass kicked!!! Which I fucking hate. It was even worse when Godzilla fought Mothra and Battra and he got he ass raped. That movie sucked anyway
