How to fix broken iPhone

Alright someone help me please! I have the 1st Ipad, and I'm not sure if it's the same issue but whenever I start it, theirs different colored lines all over the screen covering the whole screen, I'm unable to see anything. They're not scratches, its inside the screen when u turn it on. @emilaya101 can u help too? Thanks.

hey can't fix my iphone. When i try to use a software to unlock my iphone it won't allow me to proceed with completing the process. It will either stop half way through one process or an error will appear in another one. is there any way that I can get the iphone back to a point where it will allow me to fully complete the unlock process. Can't even get to the home page. It will only goes as far as the emergency phone point. Any ideas

dude, i had the same problem on june, 9...trying to jailbreak alredy jailbroken phone. u need to turn ur phone into the DFU mode, then, restore it.

what you do is turn the ipod off hold down the home button while plugging in your ipod and keep hold on it until it shows the usb port into itunes picture and you restore it using itunes

k i got it all you gotta do is time it just right... took me bout 4 maybe 5 times but you gotta keep restarting it with it hooked up to your comp. and turn it on by restarting it too. you gotta watch for when it tells you to connect to itunes. thats when you know you got the timeing right and you gotta try for that again. and never ever try to "unlock everying" on a itouch. NEVER

Plug your iphone into the computer, eventhough the computer doensn't see the iPhone. Then hold the power and menu button til the itunes icon appears. That worked for me.

if you have a problem with running numbers such as this video hold the home button and the sleep/wake button at the same time for 6 seconds or if it doesnt work try to hold them as long as it appears a message which says connect to itunes and you can restore and update your iphone again.

if the screen is not damaged by the water , you would have to open it and take a tooth brush and refill gas for lighter, put a lot on the chips and everywhere except the screen this will save it from water damage. I know it bcs i repair cell phones in my shop. 90 % it works

all i did was let it run for about 20 min. then in the middle of all that text scrolling down i held the main button and the sleep/wake button at the same time for 6 seconds. a bright yellow screen came and then came the message, " activate iphone please sync to itunes". might have been a complete fluke, but my iphone is unlocked and working perfectly right now.
