Hi Olly thanks for putting this on here, I remember being there. Impressive how sideways they were going round Arena, very narrow circuit for such antics. Hugh Chalmers (?) was unbeatable in his sunbeam lotus. That very sideways Avenger will be your dad Glen? I think the commentator referred to him as the fastest taxi driver in Edinburgh. Olly Ross was in the Escort Estate 2.0. Nice to see the video clip still survives as it was made by my late father.
I believe that is olly Ross in the Celica. I will have to look at some of our race results to come up with the rest of the names for these cars. My dad raced in these events '84 and '85 before we moved back to the states. He did not appear in this clip but he was 164 and ran a red ford escort, brings back some great memories.
