Hi, that can happen in the beginning when you are learning. When you get close to the nape of your neck assess how much hair you have left and try to divide it equally to continue down. I hope that helps.

Hi, give it another try. Perhaps you picked a ribbon that blends with your hair color. Try something bolder. Also, see if you can try to position the ribbon above the hair as you braid. Once you get good at doing this, it will be easier for you to fuss with the ribbon.

Hi, thank you for your very kind compliment on my hair. I do use a great conditioner by Neutrogena called Triple Moisture Daily Deep Conditioner. It really keeps my hair soft and helps prevent split ends. I try to maintain a very healthy diet because your hair is a direct benefit of eating healthy and I exercise regularly. I really think that helps.

Hi, I was never a dancer, but I have been asked that quite a few times in my life. I think it is because of my posture and the way I carry myself. Thank you for the compliment! I do braid my hair from the top when I do a french braid, but I do not braid it from my forehead if that's what you mean.

Hi, I'm so glad you like it. You can by them anywhere they sell ribbons. Walmart has a craft dept. where you can find lots of colorful ribbons and beads on a string at great prices. Craft stores are good and remember to save ribbons from gifts that you get. I've gotten a few beautiful ones.

Fixing beads or pearls on booby pins (loose ones).. and then setting them up on by one on every crossover also looks fantastik!.. I believe that would look glamourouz .. by the way I like what I m seeing.. thankzz for that!

I once saw this with a single ribbon and her french braid was tucked underneath, it was lovely. After watching your vid I made the attempt with a single wide ribbon as I don't have three, plus, the length required so the cloth tended to disappear here and there. But I'll be doing this look again after I head to the fabric store. :D Thank you!

Congratulations on your upcoming graduation! How about curling your hair with large rollers for big soft curls, or make two braids when your hair is still pretty damp after washing it. Go to sleep that way. When you wake in the morning and take the braids out, you'll have beautiful waives. I think either look would look great with your beautiful long hair and the cap and gown? This is a good idea! I used to do this with one ribbon, but never thought of lace and pearls.

Have you ever done an "inside out" French braid? Instead of braiding the sides OVER the middle piece, you go UNDER the middle piece instead. It takes a bit of concentration as we're so used to going over, over, over, but it makes the braid look more three dimensional. Try it!! Your hair would look really pretty that way.
