hahaha it took me to "This is the noose at 10" to get the pun, and when I did I groaned, right before they pointed out what happened to the guy who wrote that joke. Perfectly timed, I laughed so hard!
@athenaloca It's a play on words. They say noose instead of news. So you have the 7 o'clock or 9 o'clock news, and the infamous "news at ten". It's a very cheesy joke, but those are the best kinds :P
I think in every History lesson, instead of looking at books and listening to the teacher and all that, they should just play horrible histories for the whole lesson. That way we'll also be learning about different periods of time all at once instead of just one. Thumbs up if you agree? :)
This is the noose at ten, and this, is the person who wrote that joke XD This is the best show ever! I actually learnt alot more about the civil war in day than I did in a term..
too old to laugh at this? haha dont be daft i'm 28 and i love it :) they won an award at the British comedy awards - deservedly so too. funny and educational. need more shows like this
haha lols x luv this bareeeeee thumbs up if u think sooo x can someone get th one of tutincarmun or wateva when he wants like a huge tomb stone taaaaaa
What's worse is that executions by axe were sometimes botched - horribly. No wonder, considering the unwieldy instrument they had to use. For this reason Anne Boelyn requested a swordsman from Calais as this guaranteed a quick kill.
@BrionyCoote i agree they were horrible. however... anne didn't request it, it was henry's "gift" to her. some gift, he probably thought he was being merciful lol.
@BrionyCoote well, as with all Crafts and Skills, mishaps happen sometimes. And actually the Axe was far mor reliable on average then the Sword, as the Axe had much more Weight and Momentum. The Sword was reserved to Noblemen, as a Sign of Status, but beheading with a Sword took much more Skill.
