@nboldman I cut down plastic part tree then I took the point on my knife and cut a hole in the end. Then I bent paper clips to slide through and glued them and left the plastic part tree loose to make the moving bars I can do a how to video if it will help
That Syclone is gonna be SweeeeeeT!!! Awesome way of doing the suspension,,really cool!! Dupli-color primer is good stuff,,just make sure on a scrap piece for paint compatability. Peace!!
Yo, I like what you did with the suspension. I don't think any one out there has done a suspension like that. As far as painting goes, you should not have a problem with laying down your blue one coat lacquer on top of Dupli-Color Primer, so long as the Primer is Lacquer. If it is something other than Lacquer, then the your Lacquer paint would attack the primer, I THINK!
Please remember when laying down paint, do so in the following manner:
Nice work on that custom suspension. Very unique and that will be a great color choice. It is rare for a primer to paint reaction, but don't quote me on that. But it really should be fine.
sweet build man tha reverse 3 link looks killer..i like that u cut the doors cause i dont plan on doing that to mine....u should build custom in the contest-u dont have to get real crazy with it-i dont plan on winning i just plan on building a killer model-peace
looking good so far bro', keep at it , you'll get it down pack , do take your time with it tho' , suspension work is delicate on these plastic models, i had to back off for a min. on mine , and do more research on suspension, so i could get it as close to the real 1.1 sispension as possible , i want my '64s to be off the hook, lol, kutgw , peace!
if i were u i would glue a stick or something between it so its raised and put some drag slicks on it and wheelie bars
