What i like about this vid, is the fact that Stuart Robinson (Robbo) of sky sports is not doing the commentary. His biggotted, racist, and non impartial view of things allways makes watching anything hes commentating on painful to listen to.
Good to see JDV doing well in HCup - can't believe they don't start him? You guys are lucky to have him. If Irish rugby continues strong it will attract more worldclass players. Munster or Leinster to win HCup, without doubt
@EngelbrechtBok : yeah, we like our worldclass players...JDV, Elsom, Doug Howlett etc - and SH coaches!..and yes it does create a sense of spiritual link between Irish rugby and SH. We certainly aspire to those standards. But we also know the only way Ireland will continue to grow is to have a good supply of our own worldclass players. And, touch wood, that aspiration is coming along nicely.
I know you like SH coaches bud - Gert Smal fucked up our lineout, cheeky fucker:) But yeah, you're right man - you gotta start the Earls kid over JDV, get him experienced. But it's strange for me to not see JDV start..One fault with JDV has always been his passing - but if he runs with the ball he's like a bulldozer - more like a flanker or an eightman than a centre. and in this alone I think he's better than earls.. (though have to say I haven't seen much of Earls...)
Reminds me of a few Welsh players who slagged off the Irish team a good few seasons back as being stacked with old men... a few of those old men came back this year (older still!) and took anything that wasn't chained down in Europe - ;)
Merci for the vid, very cool
