  • Aww man we used to be up till 4 in the morning plaing Slam n jam

  • Game quickie (take me now) XD

  • This was one of my favorite games...There was a secret to using the REAL Lakers in that game...of course the names were wrong but the numbers and colors were right...you either had to select the team up or down on the menu. It was staggered....You would actually play as a different team but the colors and player numbers were them same. Anthony Peeler was a beast.

  • I always wanted a copy of this game because I thought it might be like Run And Gun 2 in the arcade (in other words, very fun). Guess I'm not missing out afterall

  • FYI, Left Field also made Excitebike 64

  • Awesome review. Never had a 3DO and wonder if there were ever any good sports games made for it? I remember buying a Sega Genesis in 1990 because they came up with the first NBA game with "real teams and real player names." You may recall this was called Lakers vs. Celtics and the NBA Playoffs. The players moved like they were running in mud and EA Sports kept the mud movement alive with Bulls vs. Blazers and future sequels. It's all we had at the time so we lived with it.

  • Oh man! I used to have this game. I thought it was fun. Reminded me of "Run and Gun"

  • Southern Calfornia huh? Do you happen to be from Nuevo by any chance?

  • Slam! Jam! Booby to the gram!!!

  • nice, i like arch rivals better, fun bball game

  • I've actually never played Arch Rivals. I know of it, but I never did sit down and play it.

  • No offense bro, but I loved this game back in the day and was every bit as good as what HangTime, Jam and Arch Rivals had ot offer.. The gameplay was solid and the game was fast and frantic. I was good at it too!

  • was Gex any good on the 3D0?

  • It's decent. Not the best platformer ever, but it's solid.

  • I think i saw Inigo Montoya's name.

  • I don't like sports game as such but don't mind some of these "Arcady" typr of games......

    GOOD VIDEO!

  • You're from southern California? If you see my ex, cunt punt her for me. XD

Not a basketball fan, but good review anyway. :3

  • That damned Van Earl Wright also was one of the main reasons why the new version of American Gladiators failed.

  • It's cool you got the FZ-10, It's the most powerful version of all 3DO systems!

But I always wanted to play this game!

  • I also have the Goldstar. :)

  • Ah me too! I've got all three now (infact the FZ-10 I got from Japan was full of save files to Porno games, so I thought it best to wash it in bleach ^_^)

But I bought an LG Plasma TV a few weeks ago, and in the instruction manual, when they refer to how to plug in "external devices", they have a pic of the Goldstar 3DO as the games console. Thought that was kinda neat!

  • @VideoGameTakeOut Any chance of a 3DO shodown? Maybe you've already done one

  • @ScrewAttackEurope all versions of the 3DO systems had the same specs.

  • @fightclubhubbs The FZ-10 had more RAM in it. trust me, look it up.

  • @ScrewAttackEurope No it doesn't the only thing the fz-10 has that the fz-1 doesn't, is a built in sram manager. Its the same specs but in a redesigned case.

  • Meh, not a big fan of basketball games...or sports games for that matter.

  • Yeah I know some people will feel that way, but I'm just trying to mix it up. :)
