Minmay and Ranka both have Chinese names and they both worked at the Nyan Nyan restaurant both of them are playful insecure .A scene where Alto saves Ranka for the first time is a nod to when Hikaru Ichijyo rescues Lynn Minmay. Sheryl & Misa both of them are strong willed and down to earth women.Hikaru choose Misa. the same as alto to sheryl.
Alto and Sheryl love each other and I think Ranka knows this thats why she did that little challenge to Sheryl in the last epi. because she knew and Sheryl knew she knew so she excepted in order to in a small way spare Ranka the blunt true... I'm just saying.
I like the more innocent couple Ranka and Alto even though apparently he chose Sheryl o.o He has bad taste :P lol. -hides from Alto and Sheryl fans- xD
