You can see that Choi hit Fedor about 6 times in the face.

Also Choi holds Fedor upside down twice and Fedor's face is rubbed against the mat.

Also I'm a martial artist and I know what bruises in the face look like from my own experience.

That was Yarennoka not M1 Global. Tournament was spent on 31.12.2007 in Japan. Yes, it was the first Fedor's fight after long break. In February 2007 he fought with Matt Lindland, and, of course, won in first round. :)
