It might be worth reminding some students that the whole world, bar perhaps China and a few others, are in huge deficit - Greece, Portugal and Ireland to name but a few. The fact is that this country (England) has NOT got any money - most of it is BORROWED to pay for things like services. Now, if you can't afford to pay back any money the lenders will stop lending and cuts will inevitably follow. The country just cannot sustain approx 45% of people in higher education!

The government routinely hires agent provocateurs to cause violence during peaceful protests, which discredits the entire protest and "forces" the government to then clamp down on protesting.
