Thank you very much for this wonderful tutorial. I'm a super noob in maya but i find your tutorial noob friendly.
Do you happen to have the link of the airplane blueprint? I think it is better to follow this tutorial by using the exact reference. Thanks and and more power! Kudos!
I am new to Maya and Found this Tutorial and am going to use this because out of all I have watched this is the best simple instruction on such a technical art program.
But on MacBook that entire side of the keyboard isn't there because it's a laptop, no home key or end key or numpad or things like that, the keyboard ends at delete :S
@Esoremada I got an old performa with softPC on it and it came with a cheat sheet of PC shortcuts like that...Lost the sheet but I had written it down in my Maya book...
haha he got a litle short on time at the ending... should have showed how the propels were modeled.. -.- and the pivot of them weren't centered rightw, and they weren't rotated 120 degrees each xD still, nice tutorial
thank u....looking forward for some more tuts...

Great tutorial, thanks. FYI the propeller you made won't fly; they needs to be slightly twisted in order to move air. :)

I'm on a MacBook Pro, how do I move the pivot with no insert button?
Esoremada 2 years ago
ah, a fellow mac user! the Home key performs this function on the mac

well you don't use the trackpad, you bought a 3 button mouse. You need to buy a proper keyboard then as well.
slorpthegillman 2 years ago
@Esoremada you can also move the pivot by pushing the "d" key.

@Esoremada press the "fn" key and "left arrow" key for "insert" key equivalent
