    Go Jackets!

    To Hell With Georgia!

  • GO LSU

  • funny if it wasnt for georgia the state of georgia would blow at football

  • @destawsom And if it weren't for UGA, GT wouldn't exist. It was founded by UGA grads. To hell with Georgia Tech.

  • Go Dawgs

  • u dumb a** uga fans r jst mad cuz u lost to to gt!!!hahahahahahahah!!!!!!!!!!!!to hell with uga

  • Every tech fan knows reggie would have fumbled and thrown a pick half that game.

  • Outkast and Georgia Tech suck. They both go hand in hand.

  • take this bullshit off the internet. you are a god damn embarrassment to us all.

  • Georgia Tech.

    'Nuff said.

  • wow the georgia fans think their so good because they've beat us 7 times in a row, to bad they cant beat the other 11 and actually win a title. what has it been about 30 years. didnt tech win 8 in a row and dont they have more national championships. see u guys really r not that good

  • georgia tech is a joke of a football team.when was the last time georgia tech won the weak ass acc. georgia still owens the overall record in the series.dumbass

  • To bad this isn't real life!!!! GO DAWGS!!!!

  • yeah but the mist recent match up is 45-42 the drought ends

  • WOW TECH FANS....It's a video game.

  • his team is probably rigged anyway

  • This is the only victory Tech will get over the dawgs until 2030. LOL!

  • let me get on the stick i'll kill GT. GO UGA

  • GT's D-line is real good? Georgia's O-line is much better, Thomas Brown 150 yards rushing, Knowshon Moreno 62 yards rushing, M. Stafford 31 yards rushing. Georgia 31 GT 17

  • Moreno had 45 yards Brown had 139 and Stafford had 24 yards so i don't know what you are talking about. And just to let you know its knid of tough for a defense to stop people in the 4th quarter (which is when Georgia had almost 60%of their rushing yards) when they have been on the field the whole game because the offense did nothing.

  • lol good point uga boy.tech sucks

  • yes they do, i have the game and i put it on computer and UGA won on all 13 games a blowout GO UGA

  • LOL Reggie Ball as an impact player. This is the only way GT will ever beat UGA.

  • gooooo tech!

  • i have a son who detest those pest from tech

all dressed in their white and gold

id say he pitches a fit when they beat us

but hes only 7 years old

  • so this is why the dudes at tech cant get any of those cute tech women i seen saturday-they spend all their time on trying to beat the dawgs on playstation because they know they cant beat them on their own field! go dawgs!

  • TO HELL WITH GEORGIA,

tech is better and you know it,

evon vince dooley would admit that john hiesman is better than him.

  • 7 in a row nerd just admit u lost.....

    again

  • we better beat you next year or you will tie are record of 8 in a row

We stoped you from tieng it in 98 and now we will stop you in 08.

  • lol thats wat u guys said last year face it youll never beat us

  • thats what Tech fans were saying in the 50s when we won 8 in a row...shut the fuck up you arrogant prick.

  • lol im scared now u guys cant beat us everything u guys can do we can do better

  • what about punting, and having an All-American this season that isn't our punter.

  • lol i know a punter wow. DURANT BROOKS 4 HEISMAN LOL!!!!! we have better WRs QB RBs defence. while u guys have a better punter im scared now

  • we have a better D-line and linebacking core a well as 2 all-americans to UGA's 0.

  • yea u really showed how great ur d line was wen we ran for 218 yards on you guys

  • considering we are first in the nation in sacks and second in tackles for a loss, i'd say yea our d-line is pretty good.

  • It sure didn't show,You may have shut down Knowshon but you forgot about that other running back(Thomas Brown)who ran wild all day over an overhyped GT defense.

  • yea over 200 yards against a true opponent.

  • you also have to take tino account that our offense couldn't do much and our D was on the field for most of the game.

  • good point it should have been alot closer game. think we had like 4 ball roll into the endzone and ur first offensive play of t he game u dropped a 60 yard pass

  • true and that Phantom pass interference call at the end of the first half

  • seven

  • lol this is so funny. im not gonna lie tomorows game is gonna be a good ass match up. hands down.

  • Nerds! I get it, though. Because Tech can't actually beat UGA in real life, you have to employ all of your nerd talents to make a VIDEO on someone playing a VIDEO GAME! LMAO! Have fun living your second lives through video games Tech fans, because UGA will destroy your yellow-ass team in real life and you'll have to make another stupid video for next year.

  • Preview of saturday

  • This is what Tech fans look to for glory? Anyone else notice that this is a video game? Very sad

  • i know gt can't play football

  • GO RAMBLIN' WRECK!

  • YA! Go Jackets! awesome movie.

  • true

  • Brady Quinn has some helping choking though. The whole team plays bad but while everyone on our team stepped up and did their job. Reggie didn't and let them down which is worse than Quinn.

  • I know hes a shity qb but its not like he didn't help lead yall to a 7-1 record in the ACC. Yall act like hes the worst player ever just b/c he chokes under pressure and in important games. Look at Brady Quinn. The fact of the matter is that sure Ball wasn't good but Tech fans made it so he lost the UGA games not the whole team, to make them feel better about the losses.

  • reggie ball was more accuarate in this simulated game than he ever was 4 years on the flats.

  • Dude im obsessed with 08, im not gonna lie

  • how are we nerds? I know a TON of UGA fans that are obsessed with NCAA 08.

  • lol nerds.. too bad the electronic version of your team plays better than your real team does.

  • lol thats jusy like in real life

  • i figured out that it is almost impossibl to beat UGA with GT in NCAA 08. I've tryed 4 times and everytime i'm about to win and something bad that you can't control as a player happens: a randomly awful pass on 4th down that would have won the game, a strip when i was about to score late in the game, fumble on a kickoff return...its very irritating

  • its probablyu similar the other way around, each year the games become harder to pick-up, the game mechanics are tougher, i woul dsugeest playing lower level teams to become adjust then work your way through the top 20. what system do you play it on?

  • 360

  • yeah i plan on getting '08 when i get a 360, which could be a long time from now, i cant wait to see the second rendition of the NCAA series on a next-gen (it was amazingly real when i played '07 at my friends house)

  • well i guess thats the only time GT can beat UGA...in a video game...how sad

  • I wonder if any of the UGA fans know that UGA lost the first game they played against Tech.

  • I wonder if anyone really cares. Can anyone besides gtboy stay in the present rather then over 100 years ago. Thats all i hear from Tech fans

  • Well, in the present Tech has yet to play UGA this year. It's a new season as of today.

  • I get really annoyed when UGA fans ask "When's Tech ever gonna beat UGA?" or "6 in a row." I'm just trying to prove a point.

  • ya. that was over 100 freakin' years ago. this is now, buddy.

  • what skill level were you on? junior varsity? cause UGA would kill GT in real life.

  • in ncaa 2007 all you hav eto do is choose pa rollout and throw to CJ, there is little ansewr to him and after awhile th eenitre playbook is opened up to you casue the defense tries to adapt. and as the dificulty levels get higher they become easier to dominate, im playing all-american and ive beaten top teams by as mucha as 80 (#8 ou, and a top 15 Vt)

  • I think Tech couldve been a Natioal title contender if they still had johnson

  • thats one player.

  • This is a nice video I wonder what would've happened to gt if Calvin stayed and Bennent stayed probably a good race between GT and VT for the ACC coastal Div. and It wold be BC and GT in the ACC Champ.

  • most likely, damn million dollar contracts!

  • freak.

  • Im seriously asking was there?

  • 98 season introduced the BCS system, the jr. year of Joe's career, (10-2 upset by BC and beaten by FSU-GT that is) Fsu lost to UT in the title game, returned the next year and beat VT, tech blew leads against WF and UVA and was knocked out of a bcs bid, (the losses most likely led to Joe's losing of the heisman, despite having a better year than ron dayne)

  • sorry about the tech stats, but those were the las 2 years tech was pick t finish in a BCS bowl and actually delivered a performance close to worthiness of a spot (2001 expectatios were to high and godsey couldnt lead the team effectively in 2000 Gt wasnt picked to finish up there but they did)

  • 1999 were there even a BCS yet?

  • Just b/c it is close doesnt make it a rivalry at all. South Carolina and UGA is almost always close but its still not considered a rivalry. Over the past 6 years weve beaten them by an average of 4 points

  • im not sure if your thinkin i meant fsu was a rival cause they arent but Clemson is a rival (not like uga but nothing can contest with the clean old fashioned hate rivalry) and i kinda consider UVA cause weve had close matches, comebacks galore and multiple times weve ended one anothers championship hopes (1999, that game lost tech a Bcs appearance, 1990 NC, and more)

  • But i wasnt arguing that, right now your only major rival is Georgia. Youve played Auburn only twice in 10 years, your playing Notre Dame for the second time in a very long time, and i dont know whats with yall and FSU. I know your in different divisions of the ACC but youve still only played them once in 7 years. UGa has played them as much as yall have recently

  • That was in a bowl game, though.

  • we're supposed to play them every twice every four years or something to that effect but theyve really screwed up the scheduling (we were supposed to be playing them this year cause the last time we played them was in 03 ball's freshman year) I dont consider fsu a rival though cause we havent beaten them since they joined the acc (despite coming within a td 3 times and 1 point in 03)

  • So what? Non rivalries get attention from gameday every year. I meant nationaly like the Texas vs. OU game, GA vs. FL, Michigan vs. Ohio state. Just think about this if you asked someone whos team was in the big ten or pac-10 or anywhere besides the ACC would they say Clemson and Gt our a MAJOR rivalry

  • okay you meant like a yearly big deal its all over espn thing. (the reason it was a gameday thing was due the rivalry it had become/ the closeness of the games) i thought you were saying its only a rivalry to tech and clemson fans but you were saying it wasnt big time rivalry ill agree with you on that.

  • we used to have a ton of rivals (Auburn, Notre Dame, FSU) but we stopped playing all of them except these two years playing ND.

  • Neither of those rivalries get national attention. Yall play Clemson every year b/c of a contract and while it is a rivalry it isnt a big national rvialry and many Tech fans would back me up on that.

  • thats probably why it was an espn gameday event last year

  • Wow Clemson WAS our rival in the 80s. Key word WAS. Yall have played Auburn maybe twice in 10 years. And i dont think yall have played Tulane or Tennessee in wuite some time, look dude im not trying to say Tech isnt competive b/c they only have one rival im just saying UGA is, right NOW, yalls only true rival

  • Since when do close games make up a rivalry? We beat wisconsin by a touchdown in 04, that doesnt mean theyre are rivals. I understand you have a more competetive streak to those teams since they usually compete in the ACC with yall. That however doesnt make it a "true" rivalry. Yalls only true rivalry and many Tech fans would back me up here is against, your in state rivals, the Georgia Bulldogs

  • Tech vs Uva history is pretty competitive as well as close not only in scores but in the win loss comparison As so is GT CU (minus the years where the game was only played in ATL (the 80s to the present) Uga is our main rival but we still have 2 other True rivals ( clemson is also our acc rival that we play every year form the other div just as auburn is youe sec rival (though that rivalry is much older than the sec over a hundred right?)

  • If Tech doesnt win next year you could be seeing 9 maybe even 10 straight put on by georgia.

  • I never said they didnt. I actually think if Tech is going to beat UGA this will be their most likely year. They return a great defense and still have a decent offense. But im not saying they will win and obviously im going to be going for UGA. However if yall dont beat UGA this year it will be a very long time until you do. While Tech will be rebuilding for the 08 season UGA will be back atop the SEC and be national tite contenders.

  • But wait now, this is a football video, not some fucking video tape of someone taking a test. So why dont you shove it up your ass b/c no one wants to hear you bitch about how King couldnt make it at Tech. I know you dont have a legit retort for UGA football since well, your team's only rival has beaten them 6 years going on 7, so why dont you just shut your mouth

  • wow im here saying georgia is a good school, and im not trying to attack georgia anymore on degrading themselves cause all its gotten me is people attacking me b/c im "jealous" that uga got King (we have choice, evans, dwyer, cox we have a backfield so i dont care just like uga has a backfield and you didnt need to get king inorder to improve it) honestly i dont think king will make it at uga either. and Tech has a Team that could very well beat uga this year.

  • oh yeah Clemson, Virginia there, 2 rivals we have outside of Georgia, (#1UVA L 41-38 in 90 and Tech went on to win the title they were picked to win 98 same story minus as well as many other comebacks (TEchs first acc win i believe was UVA)the NC Clemson 28-24 the day CJ was born as a jacket, 10-9 2005 and in last 10 years 7 games have been decided by 6 points or less)

  • Auburn, Tennessee, Tulane (older rivalries form the SEC and SWC years) the Georgia Tech- Georgia rivalry didn take the number one spot until a uga float that made Fun of Tech for playing during the war was featured in a parade in which both schools participated.

  • I agree Bennet is the better qb but the gator bowl doesnt mean shit, WVU got where they are by their offense, not their D. They have probably one of the worst secondary in the country and they played against the best reciever so dont put the gator bowl into perspective.

  • Once again you can talk shit about King, i know you're bitter about us getting him. But since we cant go back in time i suggest for you to stop bitching and accept the fact of 6 years in a row. Would you be bitching if Ball led Tech to a game winning Touchdown? No.

  • i gave up on king his sophmore year in high school not cause his grades but because i learned he was am sec fan, and after i heard about his grades i knew he wouldnt make it at tech, he is a greta athelet and uga made a great pull but at the same time uga lowered their standards ( below the norm of any D1 school it was surprising, you guys disrespected your own school)

  • Wow i dont believe you at all GTtildeath. Sorry to be on the cautious side but it seems very convinient about how you found this piece of information.

  • I never said our reciever's didnt suck last year. Notice earlier how i said we were rebuilding. Every reciever said theyve never had a qb throw as hard as stafford does. Im not saying our recivers didnt suck last year, but Bryant is back and the recieving corps are going to be better. College players ussually get better as they go along in their career.

  • Also in 06 theres no way he wouldnt have won the heismen and we would probably be in a BCS bowl with a 12-1 record. Tech wanted Calvin more then UGA did. (Remember UGA had already got 5 star reciever at Sean Bailey and CJ was only 4) No offense but Tech's recruiting game wasnt very big and definetly spent more time on the 4 star then UGA did. Theres no way either team knew what hed turn out to be like

  • UGA has had bad receiving corps b/c they're inconsistent and have not played up to their expectations. That's why UGA's expectations at the WR position aren't high this season. Massaquoi lead your WR corps with around 350 receiving yards last season. That's horrendous, especially since your team played 13 games. And b/c he lead your receiving corps w/ approximately 350 receiving yards, it's obvious that your other receivers aren't performing well either.

  • I'm just trying to make a legitimate argument. I could be wrong, but based on last season's performance and the lack of an experienced offensive line for this upcoming year, I don't see much improvement for your WR corps. Like I said, I'm just speculating.

  • Calvin would have done better at Georgia cause he would have had a competent QB the whole time ball wasted CJs talent. ive heard that CJ was a 4 star player accoording to 1 and a 5 acoording to another recruiting mag, But he was a national recruit until he said he was satying in state (whichever mag rated him a 4 made a huge mistake, as looking at a vid form his HS years he was def 5 star) His reason for choosing tech was that it was closer to home, and he felt he'd make a bigger impact

  • UGA had better coaching, better players(excluding 06), and better National recognition. Im not trying to bag on Tech b/c Reggie Ball did suck ass so Calvin was never able to lead yall to a National caliber team. I truly believe UGA wouldve been in the 2005 National championship if DJ Shockley didnt miss the Florida game, and was at 100% for Auburn. If Johnson was there we wouldve won both games anyway and wouldve had a legitimate shot against USC for the title.

  • I agree with with DAZZ SAT scores are confidential. You cant just find that out thats why i wanted to know where you heard this. But Dazz,I dont understand how UGA has bad recieving corps in the past. Just b/c we dont have Calvin Johnson or Dwayne Jerret caliber doesnt mean we recruit busts. Massaquoi was actually very succesful his freshmen year and then sucked his sophomore. I personally think Calvin missed out with UGA, more then UGA missed out on him.

  • A friend of the family knows the king family (he coached him in little league and advised them to get out of the slum schools of gwinnett (meadowcreek, shiloh and berkmar) and try goin to Brookwood (of course the family wound up at parkview, then GACS) cause he needed help with his grades and SAT scores, the minimum grade he could get and play in D1 would be around 800-900 (normally georgia doesnt go that low for players, but he did barely pass the D1 req.)

  • I almost feel confident enough to say that Tech will defeat UGA next season. Last year Tashard Choice ran for 146 yards against UGA's vaunted defense. This season, UGA is returning only FOUR starters on defense. Georgia Tech is returning that many starters on the offensive line alone. I honestly don't think Tech will become one dimensional b/c a successful running game typically opens up your passing game. Assuming Tech can dodge injuries, they should be great next season in this game.

  • Take Reggie Ball, for instance. He was the #15 rated Dual Threat QB in the 2003 draft class. Yes, he was a three star recruit, but he still underperformed. I apologize for comparing Ball to any UGA player, but there's no guarantee that any highly touted recruit will be a successful college football player. Many UGA fans predicted that Massaquoi would be an outstanding receiver, but he hasn't been.

  • We were talking about UGA's ability to recruit CJ. I'm just saying that CJ would've rejuvenated UGA's receiving corps. I proved this by mentioning that you haven't had a solid, stand-out receiver in quite some time. GT hasn't had a great CB (i.e. Champ Bailey) but they still have been reliable. I would sound like an asshole if I said that UGA didn't recruit well... they recruit some of the best talent in the southeast.

  • I dont know where your getting at with us strugling with recruiting good recievers. This year was a rebuilding year for UGA and our reciveing corps were rebuilding as well. In recent history are recievers havent been bad just b/c their not Johnson or Jerret caliber. Recruiting Bust, huh? Go look up A.J. Green the #4 player in the country on youtube. Hes already signed for UGA i think hell fix our so called "bad recruiting" at receiver position

  • AJ Green has yet to play a single down in college football. We don't know if he's going to be a bust. How has he signed? National signing day is next year, right? A bust is a four or five star recruit that hasn't performed as well as he should have during his collegiate career. My point is simply that they missed out on CJ, according to you, b/c they didn't want to make him the #1 receiver. You're not struggling to recruit good receivers, you're struggling to develop them.

  • Besides CJ who has Tech had as a dominant reciever? Remember Georgia has only been a powerhouse for like 5 years. Most teams dont have a campus legend at every position. But i could say when was the last time you had a shutdown corner? (Champ Bailey) What about the hardest hitting safety in the country? (Greg Blue). It doesnt mean yall dont recruit well. And look at other teams in recent years who has been a Calvin Johnson like caliber reciever on Texas? What about Florida?

  • And what do you mean by star recievers like the ones who are succesful in college but not pros or both? Gibson and Edwards were dominant in college. They didnt excelll in the NFL, however Reggie Brown was very good not a college legend but he was good and is now Mcnabb's leading reciever. Hines Ward was both.

  • Allow me to rephrase: Has UGA had a receiver that received as much national recognition as CJ, Dwayne Jarrett, etc? Recently they've recruited a few five star receivers (and that trend will continue). These receivers, specifically Massaquoi, have not had break through seasons. Logic either says that Mark Richt is recruiting busts or the positional coach doesn't know what he's doing.

  • i agree with DAZZ here. Gibson and Edwards were "dominant" i guess but they weren't even close to the level of Calvin or Jarrett. And Massaquoi shows glimpses of promise but can't seem to put it together.

  • Plus the tandem of Edwards and Gibson led us to our Sugar Bowl in 02. We also had an unbelievable team in 03 but unfortunatly had to play LSU 2 times. In 03 we wouldve be in a BCS bowl if the system was like this year. (like LSU this year)

  • Hines Ward?

  • I think someone else. Him and Terrence Edwards were literally the perfect 1-2 punch in wrs in the country. YOu might be thinking of the Florida game. Where they both dropped many passes(including when edwards was wide open on a fade with like 40 seconds left and dropped the ball.)

  • Either UGA can't develop four or five star recruits (at least at the WR position) or those signees are total busts. UGA hasn't had a star WR in quite some time, right? If anything Gibson is probably the best WR you've had in recent memory. Maybe Troupe can turn the tide.

  • As to answer DAZZ's question Fred Gibson was taken by the Falcons and now is with MIami. Hes never started in an NFL game just shows how college and NFL is a lot different

  • didn't gibson have a lot of dropped passes or was that someone else?

  • As to answer DAZZ's question Fred Gibson was taken by the Falcons and now is with MIami. Hes never started in an NFL game just shows how college and NFL is a lot different

  • Wow GTtilDEath your so full of shit its not even funny. Whered did you hear this news b/c id love to hear it or read from a reliable news source. And once again stop just making shit up when you dont know. UGA is tied for 60th in best colleges in America. Tech is 38th. Also, bottom of the barrell in SEC? The only schools ranked higher then us in the SEC are florida and Vanderbilt.

  • cbs showed the graphic during the game, they awarded the school $1000 in his name, and im talking about academic standards not academics georgia is a good school but they will let just about any fooball player come no matter their Sat score (850, caleb king his good but stupid) that list is describing school attendence desirability (look at the criteria by which they grade it becomes obvious)

  • How do you know what King's SAT score was? Obviously it wasn't great but I thought that information was confidential unless King disclosed it. I read a few online articles that said he had to retake the SAT b/c he couldn't reach NCAA freshman admissions (his GPA was also factors into the admission process). High School is much different than college, though. UGA is becoming a great academic institution, and that's not necessarily a good thing when it comes to recruiting.

  • I mean his sophomore season

  • No he wouldnt have. Fred Gibson was one of the most highly talked about reciever in the country. He wouldve switched out with Brown at #2 and gotten #1 his senior season.

  • What's Gibson doing now anyway? Just curious (no sarcasm intended)

  • Dude i have a membership to rivals and an uncle on georgia staff i didnt just make that shit up.

  • i should have said he was more talented than any of UGAs receivers at the time, not experienced. He would have started at the #1 spot after a couple of games though. The nation heard about him early cause he caught 127 yards and 3 TDs including the game winner in week 2 vs clemson.

  • Although Calvin wasn't a five star prospect, he was a four star prospect. Four star recruits obviously can be just as productive as five star recruits throughout their college career. I don't think UGA lacked the ability to recruit CJ well, he just did not have an interest in attending the institution. UGA was Calvin's last option.

  • Joga Bonita

    Play Beautiful Boys and girls

  • He wouldve started but not at #1 spot

  • Calvin did what any one else in his position would've done. He went pro b/c he was the best receiver in the nation and was predicted to be a top 5 draft pick. There's no way he would've risked coming back and possibly suffer from an injury. Money was also a conducive factor. Obviously it was an intelligent decision, no one has criticized him for it.

  • And no he wasnt. Fred Gibson had much more expirience theres no way Calvin was better then him. Same with Reggie Brown, Calvin might have have been physicaly better then him, but definately not expireince or mentally wise.

  • Yeah but neither tech or UGA know that in high school he wasnt even a 5 star prospect. If Georgia knew what type of player he was he most likely wouldve gone to georgia b/c we wouldve recruited him harder

  • And he really dominated in the classroom if he cared that much he wouldnt have left his juniour year asswipe shut your fucking mouth

  • Shut the fuck up you douche. This is a football video cock master not a GPA video. ANd Calvin didnt go to Tech so he got a good education. (My cousin goes to Tech and told me he stopped showing up for classes after the gator bowl) he went there so he could start his freshmen year, b/c georgia had talent at wr and didnt need him to start freshmen year unlike tech who did.

  • Tech's scholar athelete has a gpa much greater than a 2.97 (georgia's scholar athlete and techs SA also doenst major in physical education (the easiest type of teaching)) Yeah CJ the greatest wr in the ncaa not only is a terrific on-field performer he is also a dominant performer in the class at one of the toughest schools in D1 what does that say. yeah our players go to school for education and not to makew the pros while majoring in livestock management
