Why? It IS about equality, in part. She is an incredible director but there is no denying that women are terribly discriminated against in Hollywood, especially as directors. Men discriminate against women and try to hold them back. Obviously, it's an equality issue. It's just a shame that people like you are too scared (or too stupid) to acknowledge what's really happening.
