  • dave and Marty kick arse

  • We need to go deeper! Guitarception.

  • Isn't Arpeggio string by string playing? YES....

  • That was a great lesson, its really helpful

    thanks a lot

  • where the hell is part 1 then?

  • David, i wish you could be my dad!

  • I just learn't more in 17:13 than I have in 2 months of a music course that has involved music theory at my local tafe college here in Oz.

  • Hey David - what great timing that I got my update to this subscription. I'm just now starting to finally (after years) start looking at what's going on with leads as they relate to the chords. I'm in a blues band now and the other guitar player has just stared to attempt explaining more theory to me. Your video(s) are super to give me the boost I need right now! Thanks a million! Well done.

  • Hey David, these lessons are more than important, I appreciate them a lot... I use to play for over 20 years, I'm self taught but since I 've discovered you, I found music a lot easier, your easy approaches to certain aspects are really great.

I thank you man for passing on your great wisdom in music and we guitarists - no matter the level - we appreciate it a lot...

  • @Vassilis61 - thanks so much bro - really appreciate that - made my day!

  • Hey David, what Les Paul is that? 2008? It's got some fancy inlays on the fretboard!

  • @Rafterman123 - Hi - the guitar I use in this lesson is a 1996 Gibson Les Paul Standard Limited Edition model. SO it has a few cool features of the limited edition line - it has the cool flower pot inlays and also is a cool fireburst finish that you dont see very often on the standards or customs - great guitar -

    take care and rock oN!

    -David T

  • i wish i could afford to use his lessons

  • Thanks David. Best lesson that you've put out in a while! I like the bit about Dmaj7 being relative to Bmin. I learned a new voicing for Dmaj7..yay!! That theory stuff really pulls it all together. Thanks again.

thanks for the lessons NLG .

    thumbs up from 500

  • Lots of useful information in this video. who cares about his tone in the first 30 seconds!

  • This does not sound good honestly

  • He does not have a head under the hat

  • should they have 720p videos by now thumb up.

  • Ive never seen his head without a hat on.

  • @ 2:18 - i think the 7th, shouldn't be #. that would be X-9-8-10-10-X

that usually called "hendrix chord", is F#9+ or F#9#.

    the fact there is a 9th, implies that there's a 7th

(i think u mean 'major seventh', when u say 7#..if u don't..then what i've written right above could make no sense xDD)

  • and your pinky is the major, right ?

  • Comment removed

  • that is good, answered some questions but leads to more

    thanls

  • love your shirt man, btw good guitar and bice lesson ;) thumbs up if you agree for the guitar (x

  • TOO MUCH GAIN... i cant even hear what hes playing

  • @TreyarchIsGay You shut your whore mouth

  • @GreatPartyCathy ok.. your obviously a worthless human being bacause you took the time out of your day to make a comment totally irrelevant and stupid... you're dumb

  • @TreyarchIsGay Then your kind of deaf.. pls go to your doctor

  • @Leapfrogization umm no.. hes playing BLUES with a METAL amount of distortion... it doesnt fit... more gain doesnt make you better.. in this case it just drowns all the notes together... pls go see someone you knows what there talking about and take a few notes and then come back and comment.. k thanks

  • @TreyarchIsGay Don't be so cocky

  • @Leapfrogization dont be a dick in the first place then...

  • @TreyarchIsGay its not that much gain maybe more than for blues but it does sound good

  • @headbagger63 all the notes blend in together... too much

  • @TreyarchIsGay maybe you should do some ear training.

  • @palmeralexander maybe not... its an opinion you ignorant fuck
