Hey David - what great timing that I got my update to this subscription. I'm just now starting to finally (after years) start looking at what's going on with leads as they relate to the chords. I'm in a blues band now and the other guitar player has just stared to attempt explaining more theory to me. Your video(s) are super to give me the boost I need right now! Thanks a million! Well done.
i am so happy that this channel exist it realy helped me improve playing en this channel can learn anny technique so everybody gets helped and learn new things by their style allot of respect to the makers, the camera man and everybody who helped making these video's thank you for all your help
Hey David, these lessons are more than important, I appreciate them a lot... I use to play for over 20 years, I'm self taught but since I 've discovered you, I found music a lot easier, your easy approaches to certain aspects are really great.
I thank you man for passing on your great wisdom in music and we guitarists - no matter the level - we appreciate it a lot...
@Rafterman123 - Hi - the guitar I use in this lesson is a 1996 Gibson Les Paul Standard Limited Edition model. SO it has a few cool features of the limited edition line - it has the cool flower pot inlays and also is a cool fireburst finish that you dont see very often on the standards or customs - great guitar -
Thanks David. Best lesson that you've put out in a while! I like the bit about Dmaj7 being relative to Bmin. I learned a new voicing for Dmaj7..yay!! That theory stuff really pulls it all together. Thanks again.
@bondmaster420 - thanks Jake - really appreciate your kind words and you taking the time to write in - means a lot to me bro - stay tuned as I plan to continue more lessons in this series with some more advanced stuff too -
Sounds kind of like the intro to Since I've been Loving You - Zeppelin.. I always enjoy watching the videos by you guys. Easy to watch and informative. Thanks for keeping it new, fresh, and free!
@palmeralexander - Hi - thats interesting that you stated that about Since I've Been Loving You - I have heard that comment before - thanks so much for your kind words - means a lot to me - glad you are enjoying the lessons. Keep up all the hard work and keep on rocking!

@ 2:18 - i think the 7th, shouldn't be #. that would be X-9-8-10-10-X
that usually called "hendrix chord", is F#9+ or F#9#.
the fact there is a 9th, implies that there's a 7th
(i think u mean 'major seventh', when u say 7#..if u don't..then what i've written right above could make no sense xDD)
