Did anyone hear what Wilson said? If you don't LEARN or at least TRY to understand something you can become prejudice. Honestly, I am a girl and not a big fan of ballet, in fact I like football. However, I was given the CHANCE to like it. What is wrong with a guy who might like ballet? It won't make him any less of a guy. In fact that might prove that he is very secure because he is willing to stand up for what he likes against any stereotypes.

Its funny how in the end... It's Randy who turns out kinda how Jill wanted, and Mark just turned out the way no one wanted, & Brad turned out a lot like Tim =)

@Canadiangirlagain It's crazy how Randy goes from being a funny, sarcastic but still lovable smart-ass and does a compete 180 and turns into this kind of...whiny, sensitive, show-offy (about his intelligence) environmentalist. He got a lot less funny in the last season or two JTT was on the show, that's for sure.

@Canadiangirlagain I don't think they should have made Brad a soccer player though. That doesn't seem right. He seemed so much like a football player. You're right about Mark. I remember thinking back when I watched this and was like I can't believe they made him a freak.

I don't think Jill is trying to baby Mark, I think that she just desperately wants a daughter and Mark is the easiest to turn into a girl because he is a baby.

@xsuki000 I don't agree there. It was already addressed in another episode that even though Jill would have liked to have a daughter she isn't trying to turn any one of her sons into a girl. As she said, she's trying to expose her kids to other things besides sports, cars and tools.

@Sshelly34213 You said opera is boring, well then I guess AL would be a big fan of it. He's a big fan of everything boring, especially bingo. And he wonders why a lot of guys don't hang out with him and why most women aren't interested in him. Guys and women, his own age that is. It's middle-aged people and seniors that like him. I do agree with Wilson, when you judge someone or something without giving it/them a chance, then you are a fool.

@pytko3 Sorry I just don't really like opera singing, unless it's male opera singing or contraltos. Ugh I just can't stand the shrill sound of a operatic soprano.

There are some very lovely opera songs written that I usually listen to without singing, or if I do it's from the above choices.

I think middle aged people just want to be comfortable, emotionally, psychologically, as well as socially. Men are taught from childhood that liking anything artsy is sissy. Quite sad really.
