  • What a gay version. Unimaginitive, rank, unimaginitive and lightweight. Forbert's gormless mug is highly irritating too.

  • STEIVIE I LOVE YOU AND I M IN LOVE WITH YOU CHRISTOS FROM GREECE

  • I think that they really did this on the bus, with a stationary camera. It is so cool that no minor defect can ruin it. One of the best songs out there by one great singer

  • check out pam tillis' version........

  • Great song. Cheesy video. But that was the 80s after all!

Met Steve once. A very decent feller. Very underated in my opinion.

  • Cool guy playing base on a six string.......i'll take it as seen ...lol

  • @jonnyreyn I'm thinkin' his bass was not available for the shooting. May be he forgot to bring it along. So he did the next best thing. Grab a 6 String. You can tell the strings aren't thick enough for a bass tone. I don't think that most people would notice but to us it does look very odd. ha ha

  • Good job! Check out the version of this tune by the Searchers--a mid-sixties Britpop group. Also on YouTube

  • what a great video from a great artist

  • Call me a pervert, but this is the best version ever. Why wasn't the guy with the Tele given his bass??

I remember this from early eighties: anyone know when it was actually released?

  • @Rekku9 . Just joined youtube. you are absolutely no pervert, this IS the best ever. I still remember the first time I heard it at a private party in Denmark almost 30 years ago, and I was totally sold for SF. Have been a dedicated fan since..

  • I think I heard that the chimp took a dump on the bass ... so they just used the Telecaster. True story.

  • @Rekku9

When You Walk in the Room" is a song written and recorded by Jackie DeShannon, first released by her in 1963

  • @Keefterdam Didn't know this...I just knew the Karla Bonoff version...

  • @Rekku9 it was released on Forbert's 1979 album Jackrabbit Slim

  • @jeff4bucks It was actually released on his November 1982 self-titled album. It has yet to be officially released on CD or digitally.

  • Cool! Why spend a million bucks on a music video when you can just have fun on a tour bus and let the music speak for itself?

Also dig the dude playing bass on a Telecaster! lol

  • Steve and the band did a great job...thanks for posting this. :)

  • xo susan

  • Great close ups!

  • lol
