Wow, ok people. Yes, Melanie isn't a hip hop dancer, but I thought she killed it. She kept up with Twitch and that week Lil C was a judge and said she did a pretty dang good job. She is completely versatile and did any style that was thrown at her. Her face did not win her the competition. She won because of her talent. She is an amazing dancer and deserved the title completely.

how are people actually impressed by this hip hop routine? it was clear she didn't have much hip hop talent, so nappytabs didn't have much to work with and instead had to throw in a bunch of more contemporary stuff. it's clear from nappytabs' expression after the routine what they thought of it.

@binibibo I think she's pretty terrible to be honest. Most of her movement is all arms. No hitting or articulation with her torso. Her arms flailing, beginning at 0:55 is almost comical. Looks like she's trying to shake something off of her hands. Her fans want to think she's perfect. She isn't. No one is. She's a good contemporary dancer. So were Sea. 5's Kayla Radomsky & Kathryn, Season 6, but they were more versatile, imo. I think Melanie's face won it for her. She's so gorgeous!

@escamilla500 agree with you. and also she was very good at contemporary which she did very great at in all her routines and mostly she got contemporary. others were put in more difficult position than her in this season, her hiphop with Twitch really wasnt good, just the biased that got her thru it. I really think Sasha should have won, contemporary wasnt her thing, but she did well in it and all other routines she had to do. Love both of them silly dont get me wrong.
