This interview was terrible. This guy calls right wingers "fanatics" and "racists" and then goes on to say that he helps only non white ethnic groups. and furthermore goes on to describe these groups as being "the poor people of the nation", so there's no white poor folks? And if there are, they don't need help? Such a hypocrite.

fuck the poor whites, they are part of the problem. Poor whites are skin heads and bigots, NO ONE but republicans want them. The few hippies and socialists out there are so limited they don't count as a group. blow me.

I'll sure be glad when we have another white president. That way I can disagree with a policy without being called a racist.
So why weren't blacks that disagreed with Bush racist?
Lord help me if the next president would be a woman. Then they will be calling me a sexist for any policy difference.

You know, that "criticize Obama and you're called a racist" sentence has been used over and over again, and yet I don't know any of my progressive friends who actually do so.
Now, if you use phrases like "Barack the Magic Negro", or have pictures of the President as a monkey or an African witch doctor, you can't expect that people won't call you on that.

hah... so he only helps African Americans and Latino people. How come the White Males income, is the only income to drastically fall in the past 20 years ? Need to address that too and stop turning this into a race war.

The "ACORN controversy" was nit picking and exaggeration. The reality is that ACORN is a good organization doing good work, that was demonized precisely for organizing the urban poor.
There is an essential enmity between capital and democracy. There is an "axis of evil" - it is the union between superstitious reactionaries amongst the prols and big capital who are quite happy to exploit these misguided passions.
Hence the ease of vilifying those who try to bring democracy to ALL Americans.
