  • the engine on the 2005-present Bentley Continental Flying Spur

    Engine

    6.0 L W12 twin-turbo

  • this was specifically designed for the mafia

  • j'en veut une ....

    merde j'suis fauché !

  • Drive by test?

  • It's pretty quick for such a heavy car!

  • @danoconnell427 yea ikr?! the 3 ton luxury tank kicks my C350's ass!!

  • What's the little tick that happens before it sets off??

  • Comment removed

  • Man I want it sooo bad!

  • huge, heavy and luxury with a sports car numbers, what else you could ask for

  • For a near 6000lb luxury car, cant really complain with those numbers. In fact, the performance is downright impressive.

I just wish the exhaust note didnt sound so much like vacuum hose.

  • Wow if VW could only doe that for a Re-introduction of the Phaeton and give it the R-Line package

  • It's. So. Pretty.

    *jizz*

  • Hey i just realized that the test course for InsidedLine is at the Fontana Speed way! lol 1:19 (San Bernardino county mountains)...wonder if i could see these tests in person! :D

  • Good video! No bullshit ads, and no useless commentating. Just straight forward images and info. I LIKE IT!

  • Not for everyone, just for sugardaddies!!!

  • The degree of nose dive is appropriate for this class of vehicle. Remember it's a luxury sedan, not a supercar coupe. Performance oriented in ways, but must retain its soft suspension setting.

  • Its nothing but a Vollkswagen Phaeton/Audi R8 with a hand made interior. Ill take an s65 AMG over this any day.

  • @BCUboi You make that sound like a bad thing. Whats wrong with having a Phaeton/R8 (pretty sure you mean A8) with a hand made interior?

  • I definitely didnt expect that much nose dive

  • Interestingly enough - ALL of those numbers are almost exactly the same as a Chrysler 300C SRT8. And the SRT8 weighs half a ton LESS.

  • @CanadaCraig yeah and it's also a piece of shit American made car. and I'm an American saying that.

  • @DrumGod22 You're wrong times two. It's actually a very good car [I know - I own one] and it's NOT 'American made'.

  • @DrumGod22 its a British car owned by Germans .. VW is the owners

  • I have driven the CFS speed on a track and on the road. This car feels more capable and better handling then most sedans I have driven. When you use the breaks they feel effortless. I was so surprised at how well the CFS speed handled and I own a Maserati GTS and although I love it to death, the CFS Speed sadly embarrassed my car in every way, its better handling, its faster, better brakes and better build quality except the noise, i wish i can afford it. And yes it can out handle a m5 any day.

  • The best thing about this car is that once you get it ... you'll never have to wipe your own ass again! ... You'll let Louise do that!

    lol

  • the real question is this car worth the cost???? Or would you get a CTS-v or BMW-m5.

  • @taedom The Conti FSS exists on another planet compared to those sedans. The Conti makes the M5 look like a cramped sub-compact, and the CTS is even smaller than the 5. Not to mention luxury appointments, technology, service, panache, and brand prestige. Is it worth it? If you're gonna spend half a million $ on your family's car then that question doesn't even present itself.

  • Very impressive numbers for a car that has a base curb weight of 5456 lbs.

IF some of you don't 'get that' - then maybe you're not REALLY 'car guys' after all.

  • Impressive numbers my ass. Car put down fucking shit numbers

  • @Toolband42O The only thing that was remotely impressive were the brakes. Everything else? Man, it's impressive if you think of the cows that died to make that car what it is got to go 0-60 in 4.5 seconds.

  • @Toolband42O ??? i thought that was pretty impressive!

  • @Toolband42O this car is as heavy as a tahoe. the numbers are impressive.

  • @Toolband42O it weighs as much as a tahoe. its a sedan dude not a sports car

  • Sports car figures on a big heavy sedan?

    AMAZING!

  • @G3n3ralN0ns3ns3 But it isn't that much better than Mercedes S-class and how much more is it?

  • @sspope Better? It depends on if the person likes Bentley or Mercedes better. Though the price tag for the Bentley is a heluvalot more expensive.

  • Pretty good for a big heavy car.

  • the rich ass mobile!

  • What else can it do? How does it look from the inside? And I like to see the accessories features. Nice video...

  • this is crazy =)

  • get to the rap shoot in no time

  • @12valvepower1 ehaehahehaehae owned comment XD

  • The design is what matters no matter who makes it. So if the design team is still British then it's a British car made for British tastes.

  • For all the debate going on about what car it is.

The brand is still British, because it was founded as a British brand. It doesn't change who owns it. Also its German, because its own by a German company (VW) and built with German parts. I say its half half.

Can't really use location either to as an argument @ivantnt26. The Mercedes Benz C300 is made in Mexico, so its a Mexican car?

  • @NigguhJason

Hmm, the German cars pretty much have the Mexican/Chinese quality and reliability, so I would say yes, it is a Mexican car. =D~

  • @NakedSnakeBlGBOSS mexicans make cars what?

  • @codyschuyler

    Mercedes-Benz C300 like NigguhJason said

  • @codyschuyler VWs, Fords, Chevrolets...well they assemble them...all american Jettas are made in the Puebla factory

  • @NakedSnakeBlGBOSS German cars have chinese quality? I'm not sure what you've driven in recent years but let's just say that MOST American carmanufacturers are trying to make you believe that their cars have german buildquality... So it certainly isn't as bad as you're trying to portray here...

  • @jml8841

I have never heard of GM nor Ford saying their cars have a German quality. If you know anything about Ford, when they were about to face bankruptcy, Ford CEO pledged their goal will be to make a Lexus quality vehicles.

Why didn't he just say, a BMW? Or Mercedes? Or Audi? Or anything European when he talked about quality? Why Lexus? A Japanese for quality? Why?

Anyone who knows about German cars would know their reliability is as good as garbage.

  • @NakedSnakeBlGBOSS GM boasts and compairs their cars to BMW everytime. The radio ads for the CTS are full of people that say that the CTS drives just like a 5 series so yeah GM does compare itself to a German automaker. I own a German car and it's never let me down once so it just depends how you treat the car.

  • @jml8841

It completely shows that you are quite ignorant about cars. It was an M5, not 5 series. And not CTS, but CTS-V. CTS-V beating M5 on Nurburgring is a fact.

How you treat the car? That's laughable. I had a 3 series and replaced the wipers with the Made in Germany ones which were quite expensive for no reason, and on the very first day, did not work properly(Works well only if it's hot outside). In the cold temperature and snowing, this can be extremely dangerous.

  • @NakedSnakeBlGBOSS You are ingonrant. The radio ads clearly stated that the (then) newly launched CTS drives like a 5 series, which still is the benchmark for a midsize luxury car is handling is concerned...

  • @jml8841

Radio? A radio? No one cares what the radio guy says, nor how he advertizes their car. CTS-V in the end beat M5, and yes, it does drive like a 5 series.

Or tell me, what makes you think that's impossible? Seriously, there are way too many dumb badgewhores like you who go "Heey I drive a German car, a Volkswagen Passat. It's better than any car in the world!"

    pffft

  • @NakedSnakeBlGBOSS There are way to many retards like yourslef who are just moaning like little bitches because they can't have the things they want and therefore resort to namecalling. And it was infact an official GM commercial on the radio so they are comparing themselfes to the germans.

  • @jml8841

ROFL!! What a dumb kiddie. "Look at me! I drive a Volkswagen Eos and it's the best sports car! It can even beat Corvette! Fuck you Americans!"

And yet, you dumb Europeans never dare to compare their cars to Japanese. Reason? You know how crappy they are compared to Japanese. ROFL!!

Oh yes, so let's say it was an official statement. So? What's wrong with comparing CTS to 5 series? Are you that offended? "Mommy! They are comparing American to German! It's blasphemy!" ROFL!!

  • @NakedSnakeBlGBOSS There is nothing worng with that, it was you who said GM never compared itself. But i don't expect you to remember that seeing you've obviously got a very limited brain capacity.

  • @jml8841

ROFL!! This is funny as hell, like I said, no one cares if it was an "official" GM statement through radio. Do you even know how the radio commercials work, dumbass kiddie? I bet you don't ROFL!!

Radio commercials mostly were done by dealerships, and sometimes you'd hear the official ones, but mostly on TV. Cadillac never advertised their CTS as saying "drives like 5 series", Cadillac is not supposed to be Chevrolet, dumbass kiddie ROFL!!

  • @jml8841

CTS-V beat M5 on Nurburgring. This is a fact. Why do you keep avoiding to face this reality? CTS-V won, and M5 lost. Why are you crying like a little girl still? Just admit it. LOL!

And Nissan advertised their cars in London, and they publically insulted BMW, Audi and Porsche. Nissan put a sign that says "I wish I was faster than a Nissan 370Z" on Porsche Boxter and Audi TT.

Because in the end, Nissan 370Z indeed are faster LOL

  • @jml8841

BTW, a lot of Chrysler cars have Mercedes-Benz technology.

Are they reliable? Or more like, do they even have a good quality?

First of all, Mercedes cars from the very beginning are as unreliable as Made in Mexico cars and put that onto cheap Chrysler cars. What happens? You'd see a match made in a junkyard.

In fact, Daimler only screwed up Chrysler even more and even stole the chassis of Viper(And they made SLS AMG out of it)

  • @NakedSnakeBlGBOSS There are only 2 vehicles in the Chrysler line that use MB technology, the 300C and the Crossfire. Mercedes only supplied the platform, which was heavily modified by Chrysler itself so it isn't really a MB vehicle anymore. If you know anything about Chrylser you know that they use all their own electronics.

  • @jml8841

I can see you have quite a laughable knowledge on cars. Let's see, Dodge? Jeep? They both are in the end Chrysler cars.

Oh yes, platform. Like that is only just a "minor" thing in cars.

Single? That's funny, did you even watch any of those videos? 1.7 million dollar Mercedes breaking down? Do you know how many of those vehicles were made? Only a few, and one, broke down and will never be fixed again. Laughable.

  • @jml8841

    watch?v=fQCvvnVDQIo&

(A few months old BMW 7 series breaking down crazy. Owners are pissed)

    watch?v=aTuvqhyTJuU

(1.7 mil dollar Mercedes broke down. Mercedes engineers couldn't fix it)

    watch?v=hXddwNy8uRg

(BMW overheats and loses the competition)

Germans really know how to do business. Sell junk(aka, Badge) and make their customers suffer with an outrageous amount of repair cost. At least, the Americans and the Japanese never do such thing.

  • @NakedSnakeBlGBOSS You're just finding video's about a single car that's gone wrong. Have you forgotten the issue toyota and lexus had a few months ago regarding the right pedal? Every manufacturer can have a few issues with cars.

  • @jml8841

This is funny as hell, the more you talk about things, the more ignorance you show. Toyota? Lexus? You mean unintended acceleration? Do you know what the final conclusion was? It was announced it was the DRIVERS' fault.

Let's see, this unintended acceleration issue was on Audi in the past.

Seriously, wow, you really know nothing about cars, do you.

  • @NakedSnakeBlGBOSS Really? is that why Toyota recalled over 50000 priusses in my country to replace the entire electronic throttle control system because of unintended acceleration? Do some research before calling people ignorant when infact it is you...

  • @jml8841

Hahaha this is so funny, as I thought, you know nothing about cars. Toyota recalled EVEN IF it is a small problems, not just brakes. Toyota took responsibility entirely, even for anything minor that has nothing to do with brakes.

But what did Audi do? All they did was to keep blaming on the customers. Typical dumb Germans. And you are proud to drive their egoistic cars. ROFL!!

  • @NakedSnakeBlGBOSS ROFL you must be confusing me with someone who actually gives a shit what you think about what i drive. If i see a car that i like, i'll drive it and i really couldn't care less about retards like yourself who are bitching about what they think is a good car or not...Why do you think people buy lancia's? It's certainly not because they're good cars, it's because they stirr your soul, something a whitegood like an asian car certainly doesn't do...

  • @jml8841

Lancia? They are way too crappy, no wonder Lancia is not sold in North America :)

I was talking about reliability and here you are, talking about something else saying "Ohh, GM compares Cadillac to BMW!" GM was talking about performance, not reliability. But you don't know the difference because you are retarded ROFL!!

And oh yes, when are you gonna say anything about those broken down BMW 7 series? It's not just one, it's tons. It was a "NEWS" in Australia. LOL!!

  • @NakedSnakeBlGBOSS I wasn't talking about something else. You started this conversation by saying that GM never compared itself to a German automaker, and now that i've called you up on it, you're desperaty trying to change the subject. It is so obvious that its really beginning to get pathetic...

  • @jml8841

Since I myself was talking about "quality/reliability", when you mentioned about the whole GM crap, it is natural for anyone to assume you were talking about quality/reliability.

And yet, here you are, trying to make up excuses. ROFL!!

And too bad, when are you gonna say anything about M5 being beaten by CTS-V on Nurburgring? Are you crying like a little girl now? I'm so sorry then :( ROFL

  • @NakedSnakeBlGBOSS Yes i am very upset, upset because there apparenty still are people in this world with the mental capacity of a cockroach... Maybe you haven't caught on to this but in don't care it the CTS-V is faster round the ring, it -together with the previous gen 5 series- is just plain ugly. I go for buildqualty in a

car and in that respect it is still my opinion that nothing touches a German car.

We'll just have to agree to disagree on that one...

  • @jml8841

    Whatever you say, then.

Since I live in a cold place, reliability is a critical thing(No one wants to get stuck in the middle of heavy snow).

So I respect the brands like Nissan, Subaru, Honda and Toyota. And the American cars? At least they don't come expensive for fixing.

  • @NakedSnakeBlGBOSS American cars don't come expensive for fixing?, well atleast here in Europe they're on par with the Germans if garage bills are concerned...so that statement doesn't cut it with me...

  • @jml8841

And I am still waiting for the answer for this one. Why did Ford CEO say Ford's goal will be making the Lexus quality cars? Why not anything German? or anything European?

And oh, please tell me, how many cars in this world are actually faster than a Nissan GT-R? What do many people drive when they want to go heavy snow places? Subaru. No wonder Subaru is the major company that gets so much popularity in WRC =)

Seriously, Germans need to learn from Japanese =)

  • @NakedSnakeBlGBOSS Maybe in the US, but over here in Europe people drive landrovers alot. If you go to look at DTM, the geman care are the best.

Because ford is in negotiations with toyota to work toigether in the future to get Ford quality up and costs down...that's why he said lexus like quality and not mercedes like quality. And anyway Ford is not competing in the luxury segment so compaing itself to any premium brand is just ridiculous,

Seriously, Japanes need to learn from Germans.

  • @jml8841

Like I said, get educated first and then speak. Ford CEO himself drives a Lexus LS460, and Ford NEVER said anything about negotiating with Toyota. Ford CEO said this YEARS ago, and Ford quality is now the best among all Big 3. Like I said before, do not think your assumption is the truth, people will seriously laugh at you. More like who is gonna take you seriously? LOL

Motortrend recently compared Mustang GT to BMW M3. M3 won, but they said, they perform almost the same.

  • @NakedSnakeBlGBOSS Bullshit Ford CEO doesn'st drive a LS. Don't come up with stuff to support your biased theories. How do you think it would look if the boss of an American car company drives an import... It would send out a message that he doesn't even have faith in his own car company.

And why do you think the M3 won? it's more than twice the price of the GT... It's because it's a better car

  • @jml8841

He was seen driving one before he was appointed as the CEO. He publically called Lexus LS the finest car ever built in the entire world. Google Alan Mullery.

At least my statement is based on facts. Not like your made up story. Negotiating with Toyota? Weird I never heard of this? More like it's weird no one heard this. LOL

Not because it's a better car, but Motortrend basically is very biased when it comes to comparison. Usually BMW wins, for no reason. Think.

  • @jml8841

But only Mustang GT is a lot more violent compared to M3. So what, isn't that why it is an American muscle? Meaning, M3, is an overpriced garbage compared to Mustang GT here.

I know about this, I know the fact that the parts from Japan and USA are expensive in Europe.

It's not in North America. Japanese and the American parts are cheap.

  • @NakedSnakeBlGBOSS Yes and here in Europe the mustang is overpriced garbage...seriously for the price of a new mustang here in Europe, you could get much better cars...that's why US cars don't sell in Europe, it's because they're overpriced like the Euro cars in the US...

  • @jml8841

And yet, I still see people in Europe driving the American muscle like Corvette.

I heard Mustang GT500 costs like 200,000 dollars in some European country. And yet, some people still buy that thing. That's only like 50,000 dollars here in North America.

New Mustangs are simply built(Unlike complicatedly built BMW), so they are reliable and yet, the GT version performs almost the same as an M3. And more violent.

They said M3 is more for gentleman. I'm not, so Mustang for me.

  • @NakedSnakeBlGBOSS It's the same reason i bought my 300C. It looks totally diffrent than the Euro or asian cars. People here in europe don''t buy them because they are good, it's because they want do stand out from the crowd. And it's more like 90000 dollars not 200000, you'd have to be a complete imbicile to pay 200K for a mustang, you could get almost any supercar for that money.

  • @NakedSnakeBlGBOSS I'd rather have an advanced car with a modern suspention setup and all the toys available. M3 is not for Gentleman, it's for people who have no friends and feel the need to show off in a flashy car, it does perform very well i'll give it that.

  • @jml8841

Well, to be honest, M3 is indeedly for the gentlemen, for some reasons,

    1. The car is very much civilized, unlike Mustang which is violent

    2. BMW M3 is considered one of the highest badges

    3. you would not see some Red White and Blue American guy with heavy Southern accent with his pickup truck and Cadillac DTS driving one.

Since I'm more into muscle cars and the Japanese tuners, M3, just does not fit for me. Way too gentleman car.

  • @jml8841 haha...i thought david beckham once owned the m3 for his first car...................

  • @NakedSnakeBlGBOSS And just to add. I onfact own a 300C and it hasn't let me down once nor does it have shoddy electronics. We don't get the usual Chrysler problems you guys get in the US. That's because European Chryslers are actually built in Europe by Magna Steyr in Germany.

  • @jml8841

Oh good for you. And yet, I'd rather drive a Japanese than some junk made in Europe(Especially Germany). I refuse to pay so much for the repair to be honest.

And let's see, even Consumer Reports states, the most reliable cars are mostly Japanese. This has been this way for how long? Decades.

And now Ford cars are quite reliable, thanks to their pledge. I'm glad he didn't say a Mercedes quality, that would destroy Ford completely.

  • those are crazy numbers for such a huge luxurious car!

anyone notice that clicking noise just before it takes off?

  • @jlgroovetek yes not bad for a 500hp awd car

  • @jlgroovetek

maybe that clicking sound is to tell the driver when to start?

  • very impressive

  • thats a really heavy car too what is it a v12

  • @macuser575

    W12

  • @geedunk13 twin turbo

  • probably the v8tt most likely .

  • @12valvepower1 Or w12 TT. who knows this big ass car is hella quick lol

  • 106ft!!!! that car is heavier than a black grandma!! how did it do that!

  • @adulby brakes the size of the moon

  • Comment removed

  • @adulby ROFL

  • German engineering at it's best :)

  • @ivantnt26 thats not a german car thats a british car

  • @Rangerxlt21 it s now german sorry

  • @Rangerxlt21 Bentley owned by VW , Flying Spur engineered by VW it has VW powertrain and it assembled in VW factory in Dresden, Germany. how is this car British now ?

  • 13.2 at 103 for 3 tonnes. sti times. for 6k lbs.

  • @12valvepower1

Its just as quick as a Subaru STi. Doubt its good around the corners with its weight distribution but I think its a nice car.

  • Pretty sweet

    For 3 tons of fun!

  • They should black out the mesh on the lower intakes. It looks like the car is wearing braces.

  • @igotwhips Yeah its got a bit too much bright work.

  • ill take it

  • Wow.

  • a hummer is not as comfortable.

  • able to empty the gas tank faster than a Hummer xD

  • @xStalkerxx i doubt it

  • Nice numbers fore a Bentley !

  • @Icecrsty i agree! for a car of that size, the numbers are not bad at all

  • Ya and i really like the lock to more then a Rolce ; )
