Don't be hard on yourself... it's better to shoot for the stars and miss then shoot for the fence! Goals push us to do more then we would have without them. Besides that I think it was good that you listened to your body... perhaps it was missing something and was letting you know that it was malnurished. Better to stop now then wait for your body to go into starvation mode. =) I'm not sure I totally understand what your diet consisted of... but perhaps further study will reveal something.
At least you tried it, now you can adjust your food and exercise to fit your lifestyle.
I am living low carb, after experimenting, that was what works for me. I cannot stand the feeling of hunger, I hate it, its horrible to me and my mental wellness, low carb for me was no hunger and I could live freely.
good luck to you, keep listening to your body.
enjoy food, I do, it is exciting to be able to live without restrictions.
I am proud of you! This is your body, your life, your experience.
thank you Bonny! I also enjoy food to much to life with limitations as only eating raw allthough there are so many benefits from this...it s just not worth it for me. If I am hungry I want to be able to feel free about my food choises...
I was a bit dissappointed in myself for not sticking with the entire 7days but now I know it was the right thing to do :-)
you did the same amount of days as me lol , i think what happens is when you eat raw you get a ton of nutrients quickly then it gets burnt of within an hour and i just didnt feel satisfied and i kept going to bed hungry etc. so i totally understand why your not 100% raw now , its great that your going to incorporate more raw into your diet ! and btw know one is dissapointed in you ,you gave it a go thats all you could have done =)
yes, I could deal with this constant need to refuel, it was to much. And when I felt hungry, I was soooo hungry and then not really satisfied all the time from eating raw...
do what you gotta do. i'm new to the weight loss thing in the fall, but i get the feeling our bodies will be storing more fat during this upcoming time period. wonder if that affects those in the southern hemisphere. hmmm. no, just keep up your running and you can always up the % of raw food if you think it helps. i always eat about 1/2 hr to 1 hr before i work out and sometimes a small snack after. just dont go off the deep end on food and keep up with the workouts you'll do fine.
thanks for your support in this (what is your first name?)
I am not sure if the body kinda hybernates during fall or winter. I think if you stay highly active, your metabolism prevents the body from storing fat. I am going to continue the weight loss and the running like before. the raw food experiment was a brief intermezze that will have helped me to understand more about the effect of food on the body. I don t regret having tried this!

i could NEVER give up sushi!! But i really want to try going raw for a week, just to see how it is. See how I feel.
Good reasons to give it up though. If you don't feel nourished that isn't good. You should feel full and fulfilled rather than always hungry.
