@mahfuzilan1 go to 4shared.com search "need for speed shift.apk" wait untill the 20 seconds are over then click where it says "click here to download this file" then download it whene it is done click on it press install and there you have it but then you have to download something in the game that download can be done using 3g or wifi wifi is faster. Hope it works and if you have any questions ask me ;)

@kankry15 I was in same dilemma, but now I have decided for n900 (even it is getting bit old).

I think that there is no phone with such capabilities and flexibility as n900.

Even new MeeGo devices doesn't look promising to me, Nokia should put more effort in Maemo instead merging with Intel.

However it is just me.

@LEOTOBBY If you would notice in the video description that at the time of recording this video, there WASN'T any accelerometer support in that build of NITDroid. Currently there is an experimental accelerometer patch that has to be manually installed that enables accelerimeter control and even that patch does not fix the calibration/orientation issue. Please explain why you ended your comment as you did OR edit it out now that your comment has been addressed.

unfortunately, it doesn't have as many games as the android or the apple, but there are a few games which you can play with the accelerometer sensors

@zawette I have not heard any news on the existence of Shift for the current Windows Moble OS. I think the answer is no as for as official releases.

@zawette The accelerometer doesn't work for games with the latest NITDroid build. Battery usage has improved tremendously since I recorded this video. The latest NITDroid update uses similar power management and overclocking profile just like Maemo and that results in similar attery performance.

Currenrly it is not possible to get the full version o the game from the in game menu. Upon pressing the screen, the game closes and fails to load content that would allow you to purchase the game. I do not know of a fix or an explanation for not being able to purchase more games from the in game menu.

Which Memory Card are you using? cause when i play Shift on my Phone, the Textures wont appear.. everything's white...But Asphalt 5 and other Gameloft games are Fine.

@Morshidul If you get white textures, that means game data is missing. If your Shift apk was only 30MB then that means it is the (not free) full game and it did not download the necessary textures. If your Shift apk was around 99MB the that is the demo that works, the one that I have. OR, maybe that version of Shift doesn't work. I have a 2GB SanDisk microSD card.

@kamisakea I think the best games are: Sims 3, Ganstar West Coast, Guitar Hero 5, Assasins Creed, Real Football etc. Most are from "gameloft".. They have awesome graphics!!

NITDroid currently (as of 8/8/2010) does not do telephony. Battery wise, it varies just as much as with Maemo, according to your usage. With the new NITDroid overclocking settings, the CPU runs at 150Mhz when Idle and that can save battery. As usual, detailed 3D games will drain the battery quicker. Without the Overclocked settings NITDroid runs at a constant 600Mhz and will eat your battery within 30 minutes with heavy use.
