Completely not true, if you sample anything you have to get permission from the person that made the song/film/piece of art or what ever. Normally people don't if they are doing it for fun but as soon as you make money off it your likely to get sued and probably then won't make any money at all from it. Fatboy slim hasn't made a single penny from right here right now cos he didn't get permission!!
