Guys, I downloaded this game from internet and everything went good until it asked me for the retail key. Below it stands a button play demo, but I don't like demo games. Please someone help I really want this game!!!!!!!!! :) :) :) :)

It is 8 dollars on amazon, so break open that wallet and stop being such a cheapskate and buy it. Just think, if everyone decided to do as you do and download pirated games, where would the developers get money to produce future games for us? everyone is complaining about the cartoony-ness of spore,and they want it realistic, i personally like the cartoony style, it sets it apart from those grittier looking games.
Spore and Darkspore are good, but Spore's gameplay sucks, it's so childish and pointless, the only reason I still play Spore is for the creature creator and GA. Darkspore's gameplay is actually fun, the combat is way better. Just my opinion.

All your creations are stored on your computer in your document director on your computer. Look in your computer and you will see that you have a "my creations folder" That is where all your spore stuff is stored that you have created.
You don't have to worry about the server's because they are only their for sharing and downloading other users stuff. So if they shut it down you can still play spore offline and still have your creations.
Who cares if there is a Spore 2. They'd just drop support for it practically right away and it would end up as buggy as Spore 1. Don't get me wrong, I loved Spore 1 for a while, until EA's servers started having issues and they never bothered to fix them. EA/Maxis sucks for customer service and support.

Darkspore ruined Spore... For me it did. Seriously, Spore was a friendly game, normal friendly cute game, and now? Its a bloody killer game... HATE IT.
I think that Darkspore should be the last evolution in the Original Spore game. In a way, it is--because they released it after the original Spore.
I didn't realize you could customize the look of your creature to this extent. Darkspore not only deserves a second look, but it looks like it's going to be a purchase for me :D
I dont think they should make a spore two (personally) because there is so much awsome stuff on the first spore. I wouldnt want to go through the hastle of installing a whole other friekin' game!! What they should do is make more parts packs. Thumbs up if you agree.

@dude5857236 I have to agree, but what I meant by more parts packs was just general expantion packs. they could release a expantion pack for the graphics or what not, then I would buy that, but not a whole other game. The original spore was the type of game that is really exciting and what not, but the original excitement is more than not vague or just gone after a while. This is just my oppinion though.

Thoroughly enjoying this game. The abilities and special effects of each toon is awesome. Each of the toons' abilities are so unique and it's a blast finding different toons that work well together in your 3-man squad. Each toon have their own skills and a 'squad ability' & 'squad passive' that your other squad members share. At first I wasn't sure what to make of the 'Editor', but once you collect a boat load of loot, it's simply a matter of finding what works best for a particular toon.
Spore = Good! cute, friendly, lovable but not so much so as to make the older crowd avoid it!
This... = hmm, just what kids need! MORE violent video games! i mean come on, i don't think its going to make them wanna steal cars and shoot people, but why isn't there any friendly games on the market that DON'T suck!
also, it looks like its going to compete with Diablo3 and Torchlight2 and such... i think that may be a bad idea... hell, either of those games sound better then this bullcrap!
@NetherRevenant You do realize Darkspore has been out since April 26th right? Nobody knows for sure when Diablo 3 will be released. In the meantime, Darkspore has plenty of time to wrack up some more sales before Torchlight 2 [woopi doo - no competition], or Diablo 3 appear. These games are not competing with Darkspore; how can they if they haven't been released?

@NetherRevenant Well the "kids" shouldn't be playing the violent and innappropriate games anyway, that's why age ratings are for. People don't want friendly games, that's why, Spore had it's merits which allowed a huge crowd to enjoy it but lots of people like different things. Offer someone Fallout New Vegas or the new Barbie game and people will usually if not always take Fallout (unless of course they are small girls with responsible parents who are making sure they are abiding by the law.
Maxis really fucked up the spore franchise, they showed us the 35 minutes demo in 2006 and we all got exited, then they gave the job to MAXIS and they made a SPORE-Sims hybrid. Copy and paste this comment to other DarkSpore videos so that MAXIS can see how badly they fucked their reputation.

at first when I heard that spore was having an mmo I was glad, but to see the creator ruined like this has turned me away from darkspore almost completely. the only, ONLY reason I'm getting it is because a mod I have for darkspore parts to be used in normal spore needs the data from the darkspore/data folder.

i was pissed off when i bought the first game i was relly dissapointed. I always wanted a game where you could build your own creature. But the choices were so limiting and most of the creatures i ended up fighting looked retearded. when you got to the space age level i just lost intrest because the entier concept of the game just went out the window.
I loathed the complexity meter that thing was just shit, it took all the fun out. the game was misguded.
OK Maxis. If you're going to take out the most SIGNATURE PART of Spore, (Creature Creator) you better damn well back this game up with some killer gameplay. So far, I'm skeptical at best.

Darkspore is an amazing game. I wish they beta didnt finish :c i dont have moneys to buy the game yet. -sigh- my creatures looked so bad ass too, but they were deleted for the release -cry-

at first when I heard that spore was having an mmo I was glad, but to see the creator ruined like this has turned me away from darkspore almost completely. the only, ONLY reason I'm getting it is because a mod I have for darkspore parts to be used in normal spore needs the data from the darkspore/data folder.

i was pissed off when i bought the first game i was relly dissapointed. I always wanted a game where you could build your own creature. But the choices were so limiting and most of the creatures i ended up fighting looked retearded. when you got to the space age level i just lost intrest because the entier concept of the game just went out the window.
I loathed the complexity meter that thing was just shit, it took all the fun out. the game was misguded.

OK Maxis. If you're going to take out the most SIGNATURE PART of Spore, (Creature Creator) you better damn well back this game up with some killer gameplay. So far, I'm skeptical at best.

@M1k3L1z4rD Nah they need a spore 2 with present generation graphics , plus need to work more on space stage , it was really exciting for the first 20 minutes but then it just transforms into routine where you basically do the same thing over and over : capture/colonize a planet , discover another stupid race , defend your planet and the thing repeats :S
