This movie is easy to understand. The ending....Saito dies and falls into a limbo inside Fischer's mind. Then Cobb gets inside to rescue Fischer from his subconscious but decides to stay as promise to Mal to give up Fischer. Ariadne returns with Fischer to the upper levels, but ooppps....they get stuck one level below the airplane thinking that the water world is real. And Cobb and Saito commit suicide and fall into their own personal limbo of their imagination inside Fischer's mind.

For those who are wondering if Cobb is dreaming or not in the end, you're missing the whole point of the movie. It's the fact that, even though he was so obsessed with that totem and wanted to see his "real" kids in reality, he TURNED AWAY from the top, and saw his kids' faces. He then accepted that whatever makes him happy is his reality. That was the point, the fact that Cobb decides not to see if the top fell or not, just as WE don't see it fall or not.

You know he's awake because that last guy was all of his conscience in one character which he talked into killing them both, and when he dealt with that you know he isn't dreaming simply because for the first time in the whole movie - he could actually see his kids's faces.

Inception is really a bad movie and the answer is easy :, in the dream 2 they are floating because they are floating in dream 1 due to the fall of the car so tell me why they are not floating in the third dream due to the same rules between dream 2 and 1 ??

Because nothing needs reflexion in this film , it's just about poor reason to make action scene and the thrid dream is typic of bad action movie , there is a lot of bad guy but none get the target ... classic shit sorted .

@MojoVince they are actually falling in the first dream at a rate of 9.8 m/s/ (sq.) so in the second dream they fall a fraction of that speed so that the ones sleeping would be stationary like an astronaut falling in space would. (astronauts don't actually float they ARE just falling very slowly!) So because in the second dream they are stationary like a falling astronaut they are not falling in the third dream! Inception IMO was a great movie because it had me thinking even after it was done!

If killing yourself in dream 2 or 3 will send you to Limbo because of the stuff Yusuf gave them, why does killing oneself in Limbo wake you up in dream 3 (Ariadne) or wake you up completely (Saito and Cobb)? Shouldn't killing yourself on meds in Limbo just keep you in Limbo some more or pretty much do nothing at all?

Then we don't really know how they connect each other in the same dream so this film is just a purpose on action and not reflexion .
