I hate coming to video, then bagging on it in front of people who like it....but, there's just too much GOOD breakbeat, psyprog, Big Beat, Etc stuff out here, to waste time listening to Paint-By-The-Numbers 'house' music. This song just builds w/out ever going anywhere particularly impressive. Kinda boring if you ask me. Vary the beatsAgain, just my opinion. The 4 minute mark is decent, don't get me wrong, but not worth the wait. EDIT: I just realized the song is 4 years old. Nevermind!

Correction: this song was first released in 1999. So, it's 12 years old. And this is a version with the vocals cut out (which in my opinion makes it better). And the climax is totally worth. It's subtle, but any classic prog-house-appreciating audience will go crazy for it, trust me. And good for them.

OK, the CD I've got here is Ibiza:The Closing Party mixed by Jeremy Healy. Track 1, CD 2 is the Bedrock Remix of Up In Flames. Track 8, CD2 is Heaven Scent by Bedrock. Heaven Scent has no vocals in ANY version. I was talking about Up In Flames. Now, this YouTube vid is the instrumental of Up In Flames, which I've never heard before.

There's not much on CD2 worth listening to except Up In Flames, and Xpanda by Sasha. I really don't like Trance at all... those 16 bar snare rolls drive me nuts! :)

Up In Flames by Satoshi Tomiie, vocals by Kelli Ali from the Sneaker Pimps. It was released in 1999 with remixes from John Digweed(Bedrock), David Morales, and Tomiie himself. I like the Bedrock remix, which I think this is the instrumental version of - no vocals.

Your local music store should be able to order you one,or there's always Ebay. It's an awesome track, worth digging up.
