Those were real weapons. Blank rounds would have tapered ends. The recoil on those weapons are not what you think and his body did react appropriately for a man of his size. Especially the M16A1 he was using. M16s have almost no recoil compared to other weapons. And for an M16 to fire blank rounds there has to be some sort of Blank Firing Adapter mounted over the muzzle. Source: Experience in the U.S. Army. (Gotta cover my ass.)

ok Guns i liked the AUG (aussie pride) both H&K weapons though the G36C did have hits stock cut off never seen that and the MP5 is amazing though its chambered in 9mm parrabellum not that good for millitery aplication so i guess thats why its mainly used as a personal defense weapon or for police application same with the Beretta i also love that the one i hated was the AR-15 mainly cause everything Armalite makes is horrible and the M16 is possibly o ne of the worst rifles ever constructed

none of those rounds where blanks, to fire blanks throught a weapon u need to use a BFA (blank firing attachment) what that dise is caps the end of the barrle so that the gas isnt lost so fast that it can re-cock the weapon if u fire blans with out a BFA u can only get single shot u wont be able to achive automatic fire, u will need to re-cock the weapon after every round and none of those weapons had BFA's so they where real rounds

12g ammo comes in many brands and types. Coloring depends on the manufacturer and has nothing to do with being blank or not.

LOLz nobody is using blanks on automatic weapons, they won´t work well (has to do somethin with the powder used 4 blanks, its too weak to operate the slide on full auto sometimes, so to prevent jams, don´t use blanks in "real" guns, in the movies they´r usi´n special non-lethal weapons made 4 shows where u can ONLY load blanks)

The powder used in blanks is EXACTLY the same as used in it's live counter parts. And yes, blanks do work perfectly in automatic weapons. The armed forces of pretty much every nation uses is for "war games" and training exercises. You don't think they are firing live ammo at each other during training do you?
