I remember one Christmas...the year was 1999. All was quiet that morning. I opened my presents to see a brand new Pokemon Blue game cartridge and a new Gameboy. I popped that game in and played for hours. This video really did bring back memories when I was young. That Christmas was the Christmas I got the best gift ever.

They were also giving away free Mewtwo cards for a limited time but i didn't get one. Oh well, im 25 now and don't care about Pokemon anymore. Ahhh childhood memories.

This video is my childhood in a nutshell (and every other kid's who grew up in the late 80's and 90's, I suspect lol). I remember the Christmas I was 10 I think, all I wanted was a Gameboy Colour. I got one, lime green, and I enjoyed it for years. I still own it to this day. It's amazing how retro it looks now! :P

It actually came out first in 1996 in Japan, and then in 1998 in North American and Australia, then in 1999 Europe's release followed. The anime equally so was aired in 1997 in Japan and before the games were ever released in NA, the anime aired September 8th, 1998.
