That was pretty bad. Rock on Mike and Tom. Sugarland will be lucky to play free admission state fair gigs in 5 years. TPTH have been doing it to sold out shows for 33 years. He did it the right way. Guitars, amps, keyboards and drums live on the road. He plays to as many 18 years old's as 50 year old fans all these years later. Some people get great talent and some don't.

what I love about Sugarland is so evident in this video. They're doing this because it's what they love to do, and it shows. They're having a blast! Smiling from ear to ear. oh, haha. idk. it was on 12 different channels on my television. but theyre was an amazing performance at the end.
with melissa etheridge sugarland and all the survivors on stage. i liked it tho. :)

of course Petty is better...it's always hard to compete with the original. But they did do a decent job on it, I like the harmonies. Also she is more fun to look at than Tom :)

what I love about Sugarland is so evident in this video. They're doing this because it's what they love to do, and it shows. They're having a blast! Smiling from ear to ear. So many other bands/singers out there look like they don't wanna be doing this stuff, which is just punishing the general public. Those who are lucky enough to be signed on a record contract should be those who were born to make music

A bit saccharin for my taste. Petty's version has more grit, passion, and attitude. His vocal on the song is breathtaking, and this pales in comparison.
