  • mmm Excuse me, but... you really can't compare a bridge pup with a neck pup... even if the same model, you'll get a different sound. But... I got the DiMarzios 36th anniversary set and is astonishing :D I wish I could afford a 57 Classic / 57 Classic plus set but.. .no chance xD Thanks for the vid though :D now I know the sound of the 57 on the neck :D

  • which dimarzio are you using? for example, dp103, dp223, etc...?

  • happy with the dimarzio ? i have the same guitar and i want to change the pickups too...and i am between the dimarzios 36 and seymour duncan 59.i am thinking of combining them...the dimarzio in the bridge and the 59 in the nech.what do you think ?

  • What amp do you have? What settings did you use for this video? At 5:05 it sounds awesome!

  • @pmgferrari96 its a peavey stereo chorus 400. 1980's. Its just the clean channel of the amp through the daphon OD and belcat delay using the 57 classic. Selling the amp if your interested btw :)

  • sounds good mate!

  • Boring !

  • play! don't talk please!

  • Nice demo man!

I also use the Di Marzio pups!

Worth the money and more! A lot of winders out there but the pro winders like Di Marzio really nailed it! Outstanding Paf clones!

    Keep rockin!

  • You have the coolest accent EVER!!!!!!!!!

  • 57'classics hands down. They are the most versitile paf. But I do like Trobaks.

  • does sound like it handles dynamics very well.

  • How would these pups handle fuzz?

  • @8SetMeFree8 I think these pups would handle fuzz very well, especially the dimarzio

  • Great job. Been researching and you convinced me to try this combination of pups...in my black Strat! . Has 2 Gibson pups and set up like a LP,

  • Glad to see people mixing picking brands. Keep the "velvet" rock coming! :)

  • What is that riff at 3:48? I know I should know it, but its totally escaping me and driving me nuts!

  • @dcaldwell1003 20th century boy from T-Rex

  • @thirdynumberone Thanks!

  • @con5243 tbh i chose them individually, went around youtube looking for the best pickups for me, wanted the epi to sound more like a gibson so i knew the gibson 57 classic neck was for me, just sounded the best neck pickup to my ears for that classic les paul tone, never tried the dimarzio neck p/u but when i heard the 57 classic i knew it was for me, same with the dimarzio anniversary bridge p/u, did that early PAF bridge gibson tone i was looking for, just go with what sounds best to ur ears

  • Those pickups work really well together! But I'm really confused as to whether I should get the 57 classic plus in the bridge, or the dimarzio 36th anniversary paf in the bridge. I'm certainly going to put the 57 classic in the neck, but I need some advice for the bridge pickup. I play mainly classic rock and my guitar is a epiphone les paul standard. Does anyone know which of these two would be the best in the bridge for me?

  • @MusicForever2016 if its classic rock, i would suggest the dimarzio, its got a lot of bite and gleams with distortion or overdrive, i would suggest you just go around yuotube listening to demo's and vids of ppl using these pickups and just pick the one which sounds the best to you, thats what i done, if things dont work out you can always sell them on ebay, these pickups sell like hotcakes, you usually get your money back

  • @thirdynumberone thanks alot. I'll do some research and decide after that

  • Perfect combo of neck & bridge, clean or dirty.

  • did you try lowering the height of your bridge pickup? if not, give it a bash. nice sounding guitar, man

  • nice demo

  • I'm thinking of getting the DiMarzio 36th, as a set for my Gibson. And I agree, epi stocks are very muddy!

  • have you tried the 57 classic in the bridge?

  • nah, tbh i wouldnt really want to, i like my bridge pups to sound like bridge pups, puting in a kneck pup in the bridge position has always seemed pointless to me, but each to their own

  • @thirdynumberone well I think the 57 classic is actually a bridge pickup, albeit a lower output one..

  • na its definitely not a bridge pup, my local guitar tech checked it out and got its readings and that, its definitely a neck pup

  • @thirdynumberone I have a '57 classic pickup in my bridge position in a strat-copy I have, because it's a bridge pickup ..and it sounds and acts like a bridge pickup. To bad I didn't post a video response to this. I put it in my strat-copy in the bridge because of a Les Paul I played with. They have '57 Classic Plus too.

  • @prabowoputra they make it for both... :)

  • @prabowoputra the 57 classic "plus" is the bridge pickup

  • The tendency to get more breakup on your bridge pickup is likely more to do with your amp's settings, although I agree that the 36th Anniversary is almost certainly higher output and more sensitive to picking dynamics than the stock Epi pickup. If they're calibrated, comparing the bridge 36th to the neck 57 Classic is a bit like comparing apples and oranges, as a calibrated neck will inherently be lower output and won't clip the same.

  • Do you have the 36th PAF NECK in THE BRIDGE?

  • no i have the 36th PAF BRIDGE in the BRIDGE

  • Great pups, but more expensive than my DiMarzio DP100(DP101). I wanted them but they didn't have them. Great playing, guitar and pups!!
