  • According to the Mission Training Center of the LDS religion, 12 of the 30 young men pictured here will leave the Mormon Religion within a year of returning from their mission! I am praying for the other 18.

  • @thermionic1234567 that is a blatant lie. you're only fooling yourself. provide a source?

  • May the people in Mozambique be prepared to receive the truth with glad hearts and may you missionaries be watched over as you serve our Heavenly Father in righteousness. Thank you for the video!

  • @colvinwj 40% of you will leave the LDS within a year or two of your return. I am praying it will be 100%.

  • Whitewashed sepulchres.

  • @thermionic1234567 ur one of da many lost sheeps of da true Gospel. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day-Saints. challange ursellf, & pray. ur lost, im serious. too many lost, n da lak of knowledge,, truth hurts, isnt? it?

  • @CWMaua12 Your "prophet" called you Latter Day Saints as Jesus' return was imminent and the 1840s' generation was supposed to be among the last to live on this planet. Another prophesy that did not come true. Did you ever build that temple in Independence, MO? Not in the generation JS guaranteed. Another false prophecy. One false prophecy, according to Deuteronomy 18, and a prophet is no longer a prophet.

  • @thermionic1234567 u r very ignorant, ur lacking knowledge. n u sound so retarded, i laugh at u when u mention ur masters dgree n ur bible schoo, u need to be broad minded. u have a lot to learn muli head. hope, u get it thru ur thick hhead.

  • Whenever I see a group of young Mormon missionaries, I wonder just how many of them have secretly watched the movie "Latter Days" and, even more secretly, identified with its characters.

  • @RCSVirginia I look at these nice young men and pray they will know the True Christ and the True Father and that not only will they repent and be spared the fires of Hell and also that they will lead no one astray.

  • LOL... what a bunch of tools.

  • @Skaughtyboi your moms a tool and shes a hoe

  • @samoa299 Wow, what a nice mormon missionary response... Your bishop must be so proud of you... Typical hypocrite assholes.

  • @Skaughtyboi R u mocking the true church? r u ignorant, retarded or rebellious, well i believe is all of the above. The :Church of Jesus Christ of L.D.S. is the one and the only true Gospel. I challange u to tell me what u know about the true church. tell me now.

  • @CWMaua12 I know it's all bullshit and hypocrisy. You're mostly good, upstanding people, but the church is bullshit. I love how the "inspired and never changing temple ceremony" has changed a LOT to stop driving away members... Have YOU been to the temple? ...BEFORE the early '90s? ...back when they made us do DEATH OATHS? Well, they did. Ever since then, I've known it's bullshit.

  • @Skaughtyboi You can't deceive me, like lucifer in the garden of eden. My Heavenly Parents, Father and Mother, Jesus Christ my Savior and the Holy Ghost witness from the heaven, that i know the Gospel is true, which is, (The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day-Saints. So, don't waste your breath.

  • @CWMaua12 Go fuck yourself you moron.

  • @Skaughtyboi U need to get a life, because u don't have one. Ur one of those kinds of people who r just running around with out any perfect knowledge of the things of eternity, if ur a former member of the only one and true Gospel, which is, (The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day-Saints,) or maybe ur not a member, but u happened to hear all kinds of assumptions and false accusations from others or former members of (The Church of Jesus Christ of L.D.S., then u need to study the doctrine ok.

  • @Skaughtyboi And, if ur a former member, then ur lacking knowledge, u need to do more researches and pray about it, dont just run ur mouth and getting mad about it, that ain't going to help, since ur so ignorant, rebellious retarded, why dont u challange ur self and by the way, im challanging u now, go find it urself, idont care if ur offended.

  • @CWMaua12 Ad hominem attacks. I have a master's degree and an IQ of 147.9 and attend a Bible-believing church. I have read your "scriptures" as well as the Christian and Islamic ones and know the stench of heresy when I smell it.

  • @Skaughtyboi The truth and the right thing is always hard and hurt, get this through ur thick head, and ur free agency rather u choose to rebell against the truth or look for it. and looking, seeking, knocking, searching for the truth is always a challange, because lucifer will always discourage, deceive, betray, steal and destroy the truth, our peace and happiness.

  • @Skaughtyboi Your Mormon world is crumbling and your desperation shows in your foul language.

  • @thermionic1234567 HAHAHAHAHAHA.... I don't have a mormon world you douche. And I couldn't be more happy. Fuck you.

  • @Skaughtyboi Thomas S. onson would be ashamed of you.

  • @thermionic1234567 "Monson," that is.

  • @Skaughtyboi Jesus Christ told apostle Peter, I will build my church which means one church and should name it after His name, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day-Saints, He never said to Apostle Peter, i will build many churches and name it after Moses Elijah, Abraham, or etc. also Jesus Christ said i will give thee the keys, which means plural terms keys, not key refers to two priesthoods, the A'aronic and Melchecedic Priesthood.

  • @CWMaua12 Anyone can create a church and call it according to what "jesus christ tole apostle peter", and apparently Anyone did, you call him Joe Smith.

  • @Skaughtyboi shut up your a hypocrite coming on here and disrespecting people

  • @samoa299 "you're" Illiterate moron.

  • @Skaughtyboi u ignorant miserable rebellious retarded coward ur a curse a living dead, u kept mocking da true church. onely one gospel n true gospel which is The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day-Saints.

  • @CWMaua12 Wow, I cannot believe how retarded you must be. Do you seriously write like this? You HAVE to be a troll. Nobody is as illiterate and absolutely retarded as you seem to be. Did you know that Tommy Boy Monson is queer? Yup. I heard it from an EQP, he spent a lot of time with Monson, and they did a LOT of "gay" things together... So, yeah... Later dipshit!!!!

  • @Skaughtyboi it doesnt how i write, wats important is da message 4 u, u should understand my message,n by da way u sound so, so, retarded. n another thing, wen i was young, i've neva thought, dare was any such thing as gays n lesbians, dats da only thing dat i totally agree wit u, yes indeed, sodomite life style is indeed an abomination before da LORD. n 4 GOD ALMIGHTY witness from da heavens, i agree dat a sodomite lifestyle is agreatest abomination b 4 da LORD GOD ALMIGHTY period.

  • @Skaughtyboi eeverything u said hav nothing to do wit da true church, which is, The church of Jesus Christ of Later-Day -Saints. so hope da msg. gets thru ur thick, retarded head n brain , i hope u hav a brain.

  • @CWMaua12 I have a brain, that's why I know your church is FALSE. You are an absolute fool. Joe Smith was con-man, Brigham Young was a pedophile, and you're a dipshit and a douche bag. check this out for some facts dick-hole; mormonthink com

  • @Skaughtyboi u hav a serious , very very serious problem, which is bitterness, hatred, racist, n its not doing u any good but destroying u, ur very miserable, ignorant n absolute retarded.u ura curse a living curse,, ur worst den da demons.

  • @Skaughtyboi n again i agree wit u 100%, GOD ALMIGHTY witness from da heavens, dat sodomite life style is absolute an abominable, greastest abominable sin b 4 da LORD GOD ALMIGHTY da most high GOD. do u get it ? or not , it takes a 5 year old to understand me, but u? ur so lost .

  • @CWMaua12 LMFAO... You're hilarious! But it's time you go kill yourself so you can go be by your buddy Joey Smith and Briggy Young. You can all have a big butt pirate party! Thanks for the laughs you racist pig...

  • @Skaughtyboi i cant tell wat r u, but r u living a sodomite life style? r u sodomite? if u r, den stop da bull shit, bcause dares or there's no way i can tell if da person is sodomite or not, if u r, den, u might as well ,go ahead n commit suicide, ur worthless living. ur r a living curse, ur bitter, hatred, n racist, if u dont like it, kill urself, one more thing i forgot to tell u, in every spiritual organization, a sodomite lifestyle is absolutely unacceptable.

  • @Skaughtybonoi u heard da truth im talking about, about sodomite, u must be a sodomite person, because u kept bringing it up, because u know it with in your heart dat in every sp

iritual organization homosexuality is unacceptable. n in my church we dont accept that. is dat why u left the true Gospel? den stop da bull shit, den ur northing but a faggot, u cominng up with all kinds of bull shits, all kinds of excuses, just go hang urself, do urself a favor, hang urself, u homo, ur discusting.

  • @Skaughtyboi n i dont know why my writings bothering u, u know wat i like simple coimmunications, ur assuming dat im illerate? u dont me @ all, n u hav no idea who u talking to. i hope u get da msg. thru ur thick retarded head n brain.

  • @CWMaua12 I'm done reading your comments. You're SOOOO fucking retarded, your comments give me head aches. You are the most illiterate fucking idiot on this planet. That's probably why you are such a hard core church member, because you're SO FUCKING STUPID...

Now go suck your false prophet's dick and stfu.

  • Too many rebellious people in the world, ignorant and retarded, they have not study the Gospel enough, The Church of Jesus Christ of L.D.S., the only true Gospel. b4 the foundation of the universe, the Gospel was.

  • wow, black mormons. do the mormons tell them the have dark skin caused their cursed by God?

  • @capnhands too many people like u who left the true church and started mocking the church, ur curses will eventually come, may not be now, but it surely comes. u will suffer, and suffer and wait til the last moment of ur life. ur rebellious.

  • @CWMaua12 if you say the native Americans were from Jeruselam with blonde hair and blue eyes and then were killed by the "real" native Americans and cursed by God and givin dark skin or that the first man and woman were from Missouri the you better have some proof.

  • @capnhands Ur completely lost, ignorant and retarded ur a curse. dats wat u r. u just dont get it period. so, why would i waste my time telling u anything else. im challanging u to keep searching and searching b4 u open ur filthy sured.

  • @CWMaua12 can you prove any of your facts that Mormons say?

  • @capnhands B4 the foundation of the universe, the Gospel was., which is The Church of Jesus christ of L.D.S.

  • @capnhands i've already said it, and i will neva going to say it again, im not going to waste my time educating homos like u, bcause its a waste of my time, u will neva get it.

  • @capnhands All gays and lesbians dat r rebellious and dont want to change their lives should all be killed by cremating them alive like the time of sodom and gumorrah.

  • @CWMaua12 you support that? no wonder Mormons are so screwed up

  • @capnhands Yes, i do 100% supported it, gays and lesbians will never be accepted in our Heavenly Parents kingdom until they repent and remain repent til the end. And, there r good and bad people in every religion. And in Matthew chap. 16, Jesus Christ told apostle Peter, that He, Jesus Christ, will build His Jesus Christ, His church upon this rock, Jesus Christ never said, He will build many churches, He said, His or my church which means one church, and His statement refers to Him, Jesus Christ

  • @CWMaua12 Hey Heteroy, why don't they send Momon missionaries to Pakistan?

  • @capnhands I don't think we are allowed to. It might be too dangerous.

  • @Quincidink tell them to ask God for protection

  • Theres so so many rebellious and ignorant people that dont know what theyre talking about. I a member of the true church. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day-Saints.

  • I´m Edward from Brazil. I´m surprised that portuguese is spoken in Mozambique.

  • Now, Could you sing it in German, lol, best regards, have a great day, keep up the good work missionaries.

  • @ScienceReasonBelief

Indeed, 2Nephi is a direct quotation. I'd have to argue whether there are translation mistakes, as you haven't given me any specific examples. If these mistakes exist, do they really corrupt the entire message and testament of the book?

  • @Bustsomepunks

It's easy enough to google the mistakes that Smith made when he copied the KJV directly into the BofM.

And as for the anachronisms, again, easy to google: Book of Mormon anachronisms

The wikipedia article on anachronisms is well written with good references sources (in other words, more trustworthy than most articles). You'll find equal time is given for the Mormon apologists, too. This is something you should be concerned about, for who wants to waste time in a false religion?

  • @ScienceReasonBelief Unless every other religion is true, you have a lot more videos to respond to.

  • @Renagade1325

Every religion is false... that should be fairly obvious. All religions, including the Mormons, rely on feelings to "prove" they're "true"... instead of facts. Beliefs are not facts.

  • @ScienceReasonBelief I had the same ideology as you until I decided to actually give it a shot. It may sound like feelings to you, but I know they arent. Logically, religion makes no sense at all, but I know I didnt create these "feelings" myself.

  • @Renagade1325

Um, actually, you DID create those feelings. Science is finding out more and more about how the mind fools itself... perception is stronger than reality. In fact, some scientists think that our brains are "wired" to believe in a god. But again, just because something feels good, or you have strong feelings about it, doesn't mean it's true.

Use logic and reason, not emotions.

  • @ScienceReasonBelief I find it easier to believe in a God, than to believe how extremely unlikely this happened by chance. In some ways believing in God doesnt make sense, but I will give you the ordinary response most people do: a testimony is recieved through the spirit.

Who are you to tell me what I know and what I have felt?

Assume that I have never tasted salt before, explain to me what it tastes like. Can you, in words alone, explain to me the ordinary experience of tasting salt?

  • @Renagade1325

(rolls eyes) Seriously? That lame old salt analogy?

Who am I? I'm someone who felt the same thing you did. I do know the feeling that Mormons describe as the Spirit, because I FELT IT. But it's simply NOT unique to Mormonism. Devout people of EVERY religion feel that same feeling. Therefore, it's a lousy measure of what's true. Why is that hard for you to understand?

Logic and reason is the way to find truth, not spiritual "feelings" that are commonplace.

  • @ScienceReasonBelief Very mature of you...

I understand what you mean, I watched an I am an ex-mormon video in which the guy argued the same thing. The point is, I DID feel something. Now If God is real, I am held MUCH more accountable for having asked questions and knowingly recieved answers. Your arguement is just a lame excuse to allow you to do what you want. Either you lied and havent felt what I have, or you are just insane.

  • @Renagade1325

You're the only one with the lame excuse, & you're obviously easily fooled. If you rely on feelings, then EVERY religion is true, cuz that's typically why they're IN their religions-- they feel the SAME thing you do.

You further show your lack of intelligence by making the silly old claim that people leave the Morg cuz they want to "sin" or "do what we want". Ridiculous. Most of us still lead the same lives as before... we just know now that Mormon Inc is completely false.

  • @ScienceReasonBelief You cannot say they feel the same thing as me because you are not me and you are not them. Your logic is based off of the perception of what other people have claimed. That really isnt logic.

Prove to me that we all see colors the same way. Could my color of blue be your color green?

Either I am held accountable for hearing God and brushing it off as something I created in my mind, or I follow a church that isn't true. I think I will take my chances with the latter.

  • @Renagade1325

Of course I can say they feel the same thing! What, do you doubt they have felt it? Then you are truly ignorant... or just incredibly arrogant to think that somehow your spiritual feelings are different from others. Talk about not using logic!

You DO follow a church that isn't true. You're at least right on that one.

  • @ScienceReasonBelief You claim you are so logical and yet you cannot understand such a simple concept. There is no way to prove that people percieve things the same way. Why is that so hard for you to understand?

It is more ignorant for you to ASSUME that people feel things the same way. My friend, I am not the ignorant one. And arrogant? I am not the one trying to disprove other peoples religions...

You obviously did not come here to enlighten anyone, you came here to start a fight.

  • @Renagade1325

Now you're being silly, and your overdeveloped mormon persecution complex is coming thru. Try and take a deep breath, and pay attn:

Obviously everyone perceives things a bit differently, but we know from observational science that the feelings that you call "the spirit" are indeed felt by devout people of all religions. You trying to claim otherwise doesn't make it so... and the fact that you think it is different is either naive or arrogant.

    Rely on facts, not feelings.

  • @ScienceReasonBelief

Sorry to intrude on your argument here but your absolutely right, other christians, other than mormons can feel the spirit. I think were missing the point here, as far as i know the main message of christianity is to come unto christ. anyone who is willing to come unto him will feel his spirit, not just mormons, ( im mormon btw). However, we must be careful into using our logic. It is important dont get me wrong, but it we can get caught up in it to where we fall away

  • @spanishoceango

Great comment, except I'd like to know how you think that using too much logic can make someone fall away? It is because using logic helps you see how the religious stories (bible, BofM, PoGP, etc.) are fake?

  • @ScienceReasonBelief

i guess what im trying to say is use logic with faith ex: many christians beleive the world was created in literal seven days, but our scientific reaserch suggests the world is billions of years old. my logic+faith awnser to this would be how long is a day to god? i just dont know, i wasnt there. so ill use faith that theres a tie with science and what the bible says. Some people use logic to beleive that they know exactly what happened. we need faith that it works out

  • @spanishoceango

Faith is a funny thing, and people are fooled by emotion all the time. Better to rely on logic and reason, not faith.

  • @ScienceReasonBelief 2 nephi 33:11- "and if they are not the words of christ, judge ye-..." even the bom says logic is important. if you feel inclined, read the context- 2 nephi 33:10-11, it even says that if you dont "beleive these words, then beleive in christ". as for me, logic and reason can fail so i rely on god. i respect your opinion perspective though.

  • without faith there is no morality/immorality because there is no beleif in anything beyond our 5 senses...because any beleif in anything beyond our 5 senses is faith. without faith...this world would have long ago ceased to exist...for without morality, or a moral code, there would be no remorse...nothing to stop wars, etc.

  • mormons believe contention comes from the enemy , but email me I will try hard

to defend my faith ,by the way, I was a catholic before.

  • @ScienceReasonBelief

I'll defend my faith with competence once I get a doctrinal challenge. All I'm getting right now are two people talking trash.

  • @Bustsomepunks

Alright then, you think you're up to it?

Then justify the anachronisms in the Book of Mormon. You know, things that don't belong.

And we all know that the BofM has many passages that are identical to the Bible. If Smith was a prophet, then why did he repeat the same translation mistakes that were in the KJV Bible?

  • @ZelphKinderhook

I have read your posts and they don't stand out doctrinally, it's just you talking smack, "Are you game?" "...if you can't stand the heat, get away from the fire." It's not about what I believe, it's about me disagreeing with you, and that's all.

  • @Bustsomepunks

It's completely about what you believe, whether you realize it or not. Every single time I ask Mormons to defend their faith, they are unable to do it. They wind up just "bearing their testimony", if that. What kind of religion do you have if you can't back up your doctrine with factual evidence?

  • @ScienceReasonBelief that "factual evidence" you want is some thing you can not see but, feel and only in faith and actually praying [ you need to be opened in heart and mind] you will feel it inside your heart you begin to change for the better

  • @keroshitsuji

That's an awful way to live your life! Based on feelings? That makes no sense! Would you buy a car or a house based only on a feeling? Would you move to another part of the world based only on a feeling? No! So why would you do that when it comes to your religion?

Not only that, but the "feel it inside your heart" thing is NOT unique to Mormonism. EVERY devout person in ANY religion feels the SAME way.... so does that mean ALL churches are true?

    You need a better solution.

  • @ScienceReasonBelief do not knock it out before trying [it helps saying meaning full things] p.s. Mormons stopped drinking, smoking weed and tabbaco a couple hundred years before they found out it was bad for your body hence the lord wanted us to be healthy so he told some one to testify it was bad for you

  • @ZelphKinderhook

Sure, posting comments filled with derision is a sure-fire way to show everyone that you're concerned for people who follow the LDS faith. Have my beliefs challenged is different from reading posts by a person mocking the intelligence of someone else. It's surprising that you think you're talking religion.

  • @Bustsomepunks

It's surprising that you think you know what you're talking about. Look at my posts and you'll see that overwhelmingly I'm talking about doctrine. When I challenge someone on their beliefs, it's about their beliefs!

Are you game? Think you know your religion? Think your religion is defensible? Then game on! But if you cannot handle it, that's cool... just slink away and stop whining about it. As they say, if you can't stand the heat, get away from the fire.

  • I am a Catholic and disagree with much of LDS theology, but I have always admired their missionary zeal and their dedication to living their faith. Perhaps if Catholics learned these things, there wouldn't be so many Catholics abandoning their faith.

  • I love it!!!! for the ones that keep harrasing us..please dude..get a life!!! you really need one♥ We're free to do what we want, and this is what we choose to do..be happy,do what's right,we're not perfect, however we strive to be the best we can,as we help each other to reach our goal in a eternal perspective..ups you probably don't know what that is..sorry :( too much info for somoene like you..go grow your hate somewhere else..it won't grow around here..because here it rains lots of ♥♥♥♥♥♥

  • Well lets just say for all of those that dont belive the judgements of god i steped away from the church some, and in front of my friens and family i appear to be happy but inside and letting go of of my pride i am bitter crying lazy disorganize and more and cant find the will to overcome god help me get back on track i miss my life as an active member so for those that dont belive you know where you stand just need to swalow your pride before its too late.....

  • @juanmrls

The REAL reason why you feel bad inside isn't because you're "sinning" or because you left the church. No, the real reason is that you left a highly structured organization and now you have none... and that's a big adjustment and a difficult one. This is a psychological issue, not a spiritual one. There are lots of online groups that can help you, like Recovery From Mormonism and exmormon. o rg. Or just google "ex-mormon support groups". You CAN make it, good luck!

  • Why is it that every Mormon related video I go on, there is atleast a couple of hate messages? I know that the church of Jesus Christ of latter day saints is the true church, so why can't everyone follow what they beleive without being harrased and mocked?because the world we live in today is a horrible time, I know that the saviour died and sacrificed himself for our sins, please just let us follow what we beleive. Thank you.

  • @ ZelphKinderhook

Do you really have to be so rude? If you don't believe a particular gospel that's fine, but don't think you're doing yourself or anyone else any favors by tearing people down for believing in something you don't. It's more than a little absurd.

  • @Bustsomepunks

There's a difference between being rude and challenging someone's beliefs. It's not tearing people down... it's showing a false religion for what it is and hoping that they'll escape from it. To think that you can go thru life and not have your beliefs challenged... well, THAT'S more than a little absurd.

  • Love it! Where can I get the words for this for an upcoming activity?

  • I would just like to say we belive in the bible and book of mormon, I can testify to you that I know the church of jesus christ of latter-day saints is the true church of our savior and that he did atone for our sins so we may repent and come clean so we may be sealed to our families and live with our father in heaven and savior jesus christ again I say this in the name of jesus christ, amen.

  • So I have read some of the comments, and one thing everyone seem to can't get right is that they think we are mormons that is not so, we are actually called the church of jesus christ of latter-day saints. They asked jesus what the name of the church should be and he said that if a church was named after a man its a mans church but his church would have his name but having his name alone was not sufficient, and that's where saints comes from in bible times they were called saints NOT christians.

  • Brigham Youngs opinion not "thus saith the Lord"

  • I have a friend serving in Mozambique currently and had one there about a year and a half ago now. <3 The Church is true all over the world. :)

  • "The nearer a person approaches the Lord, a greater power will be manifested by the adversary to prevent the accomplishment of His purposes." Joseph Smith Jr.

  • @scottwins2

"Shall I tell you the law of God in regard to the African race? If the white man who belongs to the chosen seed mixes his blood with the seed of Cain, the penalty, under the law of God, is death on the spot. This will always be so." --Brigham Young

  • @ZelphKinderhook

Isn't it great that we believe in continuing revelation? Seems there are many 'good Christians' in the south that still believe some races are inferior.

  • @GratefulJWB

"continuing revelation" would be great if it really existed, but it doesn't. What that quote from Brigham Young shows is that he wasn't really a prophet of god, for what god would say such a thing about his own children? Ridiculous!

  • "I would that ye should come unto Christ, who is the Holy One of Israel, and partake of his salvation, and the power of his redemption. Yea, come unto him, and offer your whole souls as an offering unto him, and continue in fasting and praying, and endure to the end; and as the Lord liveth ye will be saved." Joseph Smith Jr.

  • “How shall we know that we obey [God]? There is but one method by which we can know it, and that is by the inspiration of the Spirit of the Lord witnessing unto our spirit that we are His, that we love Him, and that He loves us. It is by the spirit of revelation we know this. Brigham Young

  • "[God] never will institute an ordinance or give a commandment to His people that is not calculated in its nature to promote that happiness which He has designed, and which will not end in the greatest amount of good and glory to those who become the recipients of His law and ordinances. " Joseph Smith Jr.

  • @scottwins2

    You're quoting pure fiction here...

  • "The exaltation and happiness of any community, goes hand in hand with the knowledge possessed by the people, when applied to laudable ends; whereupon we can exclaim like the wise man; righteousness exalteth a nation; for righteousness embraces knowledge and knowledge is power." Joseph Smith Jr.

  • There is a love from God that should be exercised toward those of our faith, who walk uprightly, which is peculiar to itself, but it is without prejudice; it also gives scope to the mind, which enables us to conduct ourselves with greater liberality towards all that are not of our faith, than what they exercise towards one another. These principles approximate nearer to the mind of God, because it is like God, or Godlike. (Joseph Smith

  • I have no enmity against any man. I love you all; but I hate some of your deeds. Joseph Smith

  • Andrew Workman: I first saw the Prophet Joseph in May, 1842. He was with about a dozen others on the stand in a meeting. I knew him as soon as I saw him. ll. A man came and said that a poor brother who lived out some distance from town had had his house burned down the night before. Nearly all of the men said they felt sorry for the man. Joseph...his hand in his pocket, took out five dollars and said: "I feel sorry for this brother to the amount of five dollars. How much do you all feel sorry?"

  • Hell may pour forth its rage like the burning lava of Mount Vesuvius . . . and yet shall "Mormonism" stand. . . . God is the author of it. He is our shield. . . . It was by Him we received the Book of Mormon; and it is by Him that we remain unto this day; and by Him we shall remain, if it shall be for our glory; and in His Almighty name we are determined to endure tribulation as good soldiers unto the end. Joseph Smith

  • whatever.

  • "For he that diligently seeketh shall find; and the mysteries of God shall be unfolded unto them, by the power of the Holy Ghost, as well in these times as in times of old as in times to come; wherefore, the course of the Lord is one eternal round" - 1 Nephi 10:19" Joseph Smith Jr

  • okay mr.gay guy.i DO NOT CARE about anything you say about our Church. im just enjoying the music here, and you come and started to blaber about this and that. you know what? do us a favor. LEAVE... okay! we understand! you left the church! its your choice were not bothering you so quit bothering us, sheeeshh. GET OFF OUR BACK!!!

  • @centycents

If you don't care so much, then why are you so upset? Poor pathetic thing!

If you can't handle the heat, then back away from the fire! Simple.

  • if you got trolled by our opinion and belief well then its your FAULT . Im a person, i have the right for my own opinion. and You know are in a PAGE where mormonism dwells and lingers and still you insist to be trolled by our faith? in the first place why are you HERE? if you know theres gonna be members saying what they believe in? sheesh.... youre like a KID playing fire and not expect to get burned. YOU MISTER or what ever your gender is (well you guys can vote for it right?lol) , A TROLL.

  • @centycents

Obviously you don't know the meaning of the term "troll". Look it up before you look stupid again... you can't be "trolled by our faith".

  • I would first like to thank those members who stay strong in their faith. But we as Mormons need to respect others opinions and maybe the will respect ours. Yes non members or in-actives can feel joy or pleasure ... But it's only temporary. I feel us a members have full happiness because we have the full gospel. As my young woman leader said to me "some churches do have some truth in what they believe and their faith but, as members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints we have the

  • @nicolehs730 this goes for anybody but the only way to have the true happiness that lasts forever is found in and only through Jesus Christ the Savior and Redeemer of the World.

  • @therob06

"you don't put half as much energy"

Wow, you seem to think you know a lot about me. How wrong you are! Poor thing.

"try to find the good in them in which i always succeed"

Really? Then why are you bashing me? Where's my good, kiddo? I thought you always found that?

"only way to have the true happiness that lasts forever is... only thru J.C."

Er, no, wrong again. Millions have found true happiness that lasts forever with NO religion, and their numbers will only increase!

  • @nicolehs730

You said, "Yes non members or in-actives can feel joy or pleasure ... But it's only temporary."

You need to know that you're wrong. This is a common story that Mormons tell each other, but it's not true. When I finally left Mormonism, life became so much more joyful than ever before. Some of the happiest people I know are "non members" & yes, even "in-actives".

Besides, since every religion can feel the spirit, how do you know you have the truth? You all feel the same thing!

  • i dont get why we have to fight about this.

to the LDS people : if you truly love the church and believe its true then prove it by not judging other people and being charitable and understanding. God loves all of us.

To the anti-mormons: i respect what you believe, but trying to tear down our love for the gospel is just going to make us stand for what we believe

  • THE CHURCH IS TRUE!! <3

  • @zealander i wont argue with you, it seems you really know alot about the church. but, leme ask you ,is there any church in the world that has 50 thousand missionaries? is there any christian church that rose from 6 members to millions in less than 180 years? among those thousands who voluntarily remove their names how many remaining ACTIVES are left compared to those who left? do us mormons a favor, please stop TROLLING. as much i respect your opinion please respect mine.

  • @centycents

you mormons are so funny... you accuse other people of trolling, yet it's totally OK for YOU to TROLL and spread your opinions. hypocritical!

you want to compare actives to inactives? it's about half, prob less.

yes, there are MANY churches that rose to millions in far LESS than 180 years... the Assemblies of God have over SIXTY million in less than 100 years. 7th Day Adventists have 20 million actually attending members every Sunday, in less than 150 years.

    you're a little slow!

  • persecutions may RAGE, mobs may combine, ARMIES may assemble and calumny may defame, but TRUTH of GOD will go forth boldly, nobly and INDEPENDENT...

you exmormons may say what you want , it doesn't matter. WE RESPECT YOU and LOVE you. that's just the way we MORMONS are and that's the way it will always be. peace.

  • @centycents

"TRUTH of GOD will go forth boldly, nobly and INDEPENDENT..." oh, really? then why are half of your members are now inactive? why do thousands remove their names from the membership rolls each year? why is your per-missionary baptism rate HALF of what it was in 1990? why are your only real areas of growth in places with very limited internet access? why, after 180 years, are you still only less than 1/4 of ONE percent of the world's pop?

doesn't sound very "bold" to me!

  • i love this song:) the efy medley is my favorite!!

  • It doens't matter when others try to talk down on the church. It is still the fastest growing religion on this entire EARTH, with Temples and churches being built like crazy!! There's a reason for it, and I'm happy to be a part of it :) Nothing will ever stop the Lord's church.

  • The "ex mormons" are only happier because they want to live a life that is not in line with the gosple. i have known MANY people who said they were happy because they thought about what they COULDN'T do as a latter day saint. This inparticular person is now a college drop out and alocholic. I have known many more people who have converted into the church and have said the exact opposite. Their lives finally have meaning and they feel complete.

  • @byucougs2011

what a bogus thing to say. most ex-mo's leave the church because they no longer believe in it's ridiculous doctrine. it has nothing to do with want to "live a life that is not in line with the gospel". and most of them don't become alcoholics or college drop outs. and by the way, I found meaning and completeness in my life only AFTER I left mormonism.

  • @zealandeer well read it again sweetie. I said the person I knew..not "most people that leave mormonism" lol? I never said inactive members were bad. In fact my dad was inactive for a good ten years, and STILL came back because he wanted to raise his girls in the church. So yes, a good amount of people leave the church, but a good amount always find their way back. But like i said, I'm not too worried about opinions like yours, because nothing can stop the Lords church.

  • @byucougs2011

actually, sweetie, you're wrong. most people who leave the mormon church never come back. we ex-mo's are so happy that we've left, that we really don't want anything to do with the church anymore.

    the "lord's church"? hardly.

  • @ZelphKinderhook you can leave the church but you can't leave the church alone. how sad that you can't move on without looking back. if you really hated the church that much you wouldn't have done anything to remember it and you know it. and i bet youll try to fire a reply back to me saying this to tell me im wrong but thatll onnly prove me right.

  • @therob06

And what's so wrong about not leaving the church alone? Like any passionate person, I stand against organizations that I think are wrong. And your church IS wrong. Deal with it.

  • @ZelphKinderhook i bet you dont put half as much energy and heart into whatever you choose to practice. you obviously choose not to look for the positive of things. i can easily go bash on people of other faiths but i choose not to and try to find the good in them in which i always succeed in doing so.

  • @ZelphKinderhook You give no facts, no testimony, just accuse. The Church is great and moves forward and marches on. Zelph won't leave it alone he can't right ? Beacuse you need to justify yourself somehow hoping someone will slip and say, see! Look another messed up doctrine. Well sorry, we need to move on come along if you like but we won't kick the prics as you.

  • @scottwins2

Facts? TONS of facts show that Mormonism is false.

There's also tons of facts that it's NOT "great & moves forward & marches on".

Per-missionary baptisms are 1/2 of what they were in 1990. Only real growth is in places where there's no internet.

Thousands of members have left, there's a HUGE ex-Mo community online.

But even IF all of those 14 million WERE active (instead of 1/2), you'd still only be 1/4 of ONE percent of the world pop.

Pricks? Naw, I do this because it amuses me.

  • @ZelphKinderhook Ah yes banter, very Christ like. so your kinda like a church of the non believers. the fact that you leave is a testimony? never saw that one in the Bible. Your kinda like a drone bee, doing nothing and using up resources just to kick back and be amused. it would be interesting to see Jesus respond to you instead of me. It would not be well done I fear. Maybe ist the Big Bang that messed you up, comming from nothing ad all.

  • @scottwins2

If you decide to start making sense in your comments, then perhaps we actually would have some banter. As far as me being "Christ-like", since I don't believe in Christ, so I couldn't care less if you think I'm Christ-like or not. I don't believe in fairy tales, so obviously Jesus is never going to respond-- he's dead.

  • @ZelphKinderhook Interesting, A Big Bang crowd member. BANG AND LIFE SPRANG FROM NOTHING! He's alive many saw him and will return again wether you like it or not. So my advice to you is repent.

I figured you were Atheist since you added nothing.

  • @scottwins2

Gosh, you must be a mind-reader! I never said anything about the Big Bang, now did I? You're just making silly ASSumptions.

Whether you like it or not, there are NO eyewitness accounts of Christ. Learn a little about the Bible before you look like a fool again.

I figured you were a mormon because you added nothing...
