I don't know knights of honour, but is it a continuous game? like in there are no turns, every faction constantly moves?

I must say, I was used to play turn based games like Rome total war, Medieval total war, shogun total war etc. ( I didn't like Empire total war etc because of the shit range on ranged soldiers. Also melee units are way better than ranged. )

But after playing Knights Of Honor, I must say I really enjoyed it.

Loved it and the music especially the music, because it reminds me so much of the exotic music, that was so loved by the Europeans of the Medieval Ages, that came from England, Scotland and Ireland.

I liked Knights of Honor much better than RTW. I was pretty disappointed by RTW. The unit limit is not higher than in KOH, and the turn based system made the whole experience so lame. In KOH, I was fascinated for the whole campaign, while in RTW, the yawns began after 2h of gameplay. The battles are better in RTW, but they get so boring after the 10th one.

PLUS: The AI in KOH is the best I have ever seen in any strategy game, and is not even half matched by the AI in RTW.

you should download the Europa Barbarorum mod for RTW..... it makes the game 100 times better

Its amazing how the music from a low budget game like Knights of Honor is better than the music of Medieval 2.

Knights of Honor also saw the way of the future with a real time campaign. Shame they're not pursuing that any further.

Lol i have both games and.. I love them both.. equally, though I swing a liiiitttlleee more over to Medieval cause You can build more than a few armies lol.. but they seriously are.. Equals and I aplaud Paradox and all the companies that wen into the so called "Small" Knights of Honor :P ... Look in to paradox theyve made alot of good games... Such as Mount and Blade

The battles are good in Medieval II, but try out the game Knights of Honor. It has a greater and much more complex strategy part than Medieval II!
