Kinda makes you wonder why none of them survived into the modern age.
I don't think it was the Chixalub impact thing, I think they where on the decline before that.
Outcompeted by birds I guess? I suppose it's one of those things you never can really conclusively answer. Just hope you get evidence for it and try to make the best of that.
