I respectfully dont agree (sneaker collector myself). Not everyone is assumed to be shallow because they buy sneakers to collect/wear/or sell, and they are not automatically shallow, low moral people. I collect them and I am rather civilized (dont fight, hide in trash cans). In the end we are all materialistic. Who doesnt think they deserve the nice things in life? I am no different than the kid who collects stamps or collects dead lizards heads. I just spend larger amounts of money for mine.
