It suggests that you do not know what the patriot act entails and implies (the NDAA is merely an extension of this). The patriot act is not part of the constitution, and therefore you cannot claim that it is patriotic.

Let's see: I've been a soldier since 1996. After 6 deployments, I think I have a pretty good on what's going on downrange. I also know the vast majority of servicemembers I personally know or have encountered throughout my time in support Ron Paul. In fact, Ron Paul literally has the vast majority of support from the US military.

I think even Paul, as much as I agree with his politics, realizes that wiping away programs that have been in place for so long will be impossible. Progressives have started and fed some of these programs for the last 50 years or so and have conditioned people to expect these things.The illegals crossing the border are given free rides as if they were natural born and all for their votes. Im a US Marine, lots of family and friends that have been in the Big Sandbox. From their lips to my finger tips they have said "They do not want us there, they want all non-Muslims out of Muslim land. That is why they hate the Jews b/c Isreal is in their holy land. Even Osama said the reason they attacked was b/c we were in their hold land and we keep interferring with their countries and policies. The US needs to mind its own business & quit trying to take over in the name of terrorism.

I think even Paul, as much as I agree with his politics, realizes that wiping away programs that have been in place for so long will be impossible. Progressives have started and fed some of these programs for the last 50 years or so and have conditioned people to expect these things.The illegals crossing the border are given free rides as if they were natural born and all for their votes. The abolishment of give-away programs and abolishing of government departments would take years at best!
