Great video Bill. Although I love the footage from the morning, it is the evening shots that make this film so good. In particular, the final shot, with the firebox doors open, with the steam hitting both the light from inside the coaches, and from the fire. Excellent!!
Fantastic! and 5*. I really enjoyed the compilation of clips. You didn't quite capture the train in all four seasons of weather (you had the winter's snow as a backdrop at 4.01 and brilliant spring sunshine at Shrivenham at 2.32). What a shame about the auto focus at 4.55 - your notes sounded like you were 'gutted'.
BTW, I reckon that you did shoot the guy at 2.04 because you already had his grave dug and had the crucifix stood upright in the ground ;-)
Nice work as ever. It was a shame the sun just went for the last shot - I caught them just before Ashchurch. Annoyingly they slowed right down, and in the distance we heard them open up fully through the station...
That is very professional, I enjoyed watching. Thanks so much. Love the glow from the footplates on the evening shot at level crossing. Also the panorama of them seemed to go on forever-Brilliant!
And had you just shot that guy for standing in your way,2nd clip man rolling on ground? I will defend you in court! 5*
Well, you might have been disappointed by the cloud, but I think that third-last shot, of the locos racing past the snowy hillside, is fantastic. It's not often that you can see the different rod speeds on a double header as clearly as that.

LMHO .... no I'm not the violent type .... honestly.
The guy said he would duck out of the way as I panned. I didn't realise he would drop to the deck like that.
That last shot is around a curve so yes it does give a great view. I too like that one, the steam illuminated by the windows, magical.

At least I had a four hour rest in between.A bit of food and a drink at a hostilery and then an hours nap in the back of the van done me wonders!
