Of course, when I watched this again, I realized, with thought, that I had drips of tears running down my face that made puddles of sorrow on the floor. So gentlemen, there is an important message to be learned here, don't be like me.

A thought. The show has good characterization, but still in limits with children friendly.

But what if all bets were suddenly off, and they had something like this admist the final episodes?

I know it's sad to think of the show ending but, when it eventually happens(hopefully not for a long time), how will it end? Just end on a standard episode, defeating a villain episode...

Or will it be to see everyone grow up? The hardest lesson of all, the ability to move on?

@fsujs BS it did. SInce Twilight didn't know about it, it obviously wasn't a part of growing naturally. I mean, look at Dragonshy. That Dragon knew how to speak, but Spike could/would only roar when he got that big. That's why I like 'It Takes a Village' 's approach to it, in that it's more of a disease, rather than natural growth.I mean, look at it this way. When he gave away part of his 'hoard', the Heart Ruby or whatever it's called to Rares, he didn't SHRINK, so... No continuity ruined here!

@zidanewaterflower 1. chill, seriously.  2. it is specifically said by zecora that spike is start to "mature" so that actually is how all dragons grow up, granted it may have had more of a cascade effect than normal with so much more abundance of stuff, but it was natural. 3. spike probably lost control of himself due to being overwhelmed by his own power and revered to basic instincts. 4. i was actually referring to spike growing wings in my original post.
