The scene isn't in the movie for a reason, being a nerd and expounding over it's failure wont change anything, it is what it will be....not in the film.

Of everything in the movie this reminds me most of ALIEN. It did make it in after a fashion: Holden's iron lung became Deckard's kitchen sink.

Glad this scene was omitted as it doesn't add anything to the movie (explains too much) and affects timing in a bad way (too slow). And, the scene isn't very appealing visually compared to the scenes which were included. It looks like a scene full of props, the magic is somehow missing.

it was deleted because the actor died drunk in a car crash and his wife said she was upset if it was included in the film. there was a wife for Deckard to but she was in the same car crash and never finished her 35 minutes.
