What likely troubles ZOMGitsCriss is when a single person goes onto the video and down rates it multiple times. I think she has every reason to be upset, as it generates inaccurate feedback for someone who genuinely creates very thoughtful videos. I don't want her to be discouraged and stop making videos, which is exactly what this kind of thing does.

BUT if you look at his subscribers 1,781 and divide the Channel views 98,652, by that, it's approximately 56 views per subscriber! Are these folks unable to retain what they've watched or are they just this bored?

I've always found it interesting how the Christians thought it was a good idea to copy the Roman Hercules who was himself copied from the Greek Heracles. Like Hercules, Jesus was also born of a deity and a mortal.

Sure. I'm not suggesting that Jesus wasn't a historical figure. But his main mission in life seems to have been to direct people away from the old doctrines of violence and revenge towards a revised strategy of peace and love.

But isn't selfishness the basis of all altruistic behaviour? Isn't marriage a partnership between two people who both commit to "love, honour and obey" each other. They will look after each other "in sickness and in health".
If one person in a relationship keeps taking and giving nothing back, they are seen as abusive. Some husbands are like that - they just expect their wives to look after their every need, physically and sexually.
On the other hand, a balanced relationship benefits both parties equally. In a traditional relationship, husband and wife both have a role.
Almost every study ever done demonstrates the benefit to both parties of a happy relationship. It is what is called a "win-win" situation".
And people don't need to be married for that to work. Brothers, sisters, friends - all look after each other. We take each other out and care for each other.

@TENNSUMITSUMA It's just that under NORMAL circumstances for a video to receive that many favorite ratings, the views are usually into the thousands.
That the view to favorite ratio is so out of the norm is to say the least.
What you are doing is simple math, which does not figure into the equation the normal percentage for every other you tube video since it's genesis.
That something is wrong with that picture is quite obvious!

What likely troubles ZOMGitsCriss is when a single person goes onto the video and down rates it multiple times. I think she has every reason to be upset, as it generates inaccurate feedback for someone who genuinely creates very thoughtful videos. I don't want her to be discouraged and stop making videos, which is exactly what this kind of thing does.

If you look at the 4:03 mark, you'll see he has watched 85,210 vids, which is a lot, good on him! BUT if you look at his subscribers 1,781 and divide the Channel views 98,652, by that, it's approximately 56 views per subscriber! Are these folks unable to retain what they've watched or are they just this bored?
I'm thinking even these number tell a tale here.

I've always found it interesting how the Christians thought it was a good idea to copy the Roman Hercules who was himself copied from the Greek Heracles. Like Hercules, Jesus was also born of a deity and a mortal.
And Hercules destiny was to ascend into Heaven to be with his father.
Apparently it is because Hercules was very popular with the Romans and the Christians couldn't say that Jesus was just an ordinary man.

Sure. I'm not suggesting that Jesus wasn't a historical figure. But his main mission in life seems to have been to direct people away from the old doctrines of violence and revenge towards a revised strategy of peace and love.
That offends people even today. Look how people like Dr Martin Luther King and John Lennon were gunned down. Or how Mahatma Gandhi and Nelson Mandela were treated by their governments.
Christians need to focus much more on the New Testament.

But isn't selfishness the basis of all altruistic behaviour? Isn't marriage a partnership between two people who both commit to "love, honour and obey" each other. They will look after each other "in sickness and in health".
If one person in a relationship keeps taking and giving nothing back, they are seen as abusive. Some husbands are like that - they just expect their wives to look after their every need, physically and sexually.
Most people see that as intolerable.

Almost every study ever done demonstrates the benefit to both parties of a happy relationship. It is what is called a "win-win" situation".
And people don't need to be married for that to work. Brothers, sisters, friends - all look after each other. We take each other out and care for each other.
Sharing and caring makes sense.

In a way, Christians have mixed feelings about the Jews. Even the Catholic Church officially admits that the Old Testament is a collection of writings by different people over very many years. As you say, we would need a time machine to prove it.
But the message is quite clear. The Jewish religion doesn't accept Jesus as the Messiah (the annointed one) and don't believe his message of love and peace.
So Christians accept the Old Testament but hate the Jews who wrote it.
