Yes, this bike is fast! I was wondering what you think it is like to drive compared to other, street bikes. The suspension has more travel, I assume, so does it take the bumps better and does not jarr your back? thanks :)

Is the gear shift stiff, like someone said?

actually it is quite "hard" in the rear suspension because of the way the spring-absorber is set on the bike (it is on the side...)

other than that it is comfortable enough

Nice highway. I'm planning on getting the new 2010 model. By the way, I can hear by the sound of the engine at the end of the ride that you achieved the max speed (or almost) the versys can provide. What was it?

i have been thinking about buying one of these, but i am kinda worried about the speed. i need a bike that can go 60 mph and when i have to speed up, i can hit the throttle and it will respond. some of the smaller displacement bikes have a problem getting to 80mph. i was trying to see ur speedo but i couldn't see it in the vid. the question is, how good is the acceleration from 60 to top speed

Wow man. Nice riding. What country is this? All those cars were getting out of your way, and even driving on the shoulder so that you had room to pass. Amazing. Here in the US, that run would've lasted about 2 and a half minutes before you either saw a cop, or somebody tried to run you over.

I cannot understand why this received such a high rating. Except for a small wheelie and a couple tof ight pases, nothing happens. It's just a guy riding quickly in traffic--no turns, no extended wheelies, no excitement. Who cares if a Versus is stock or not anyay? One more thing: ZULEX75 must surely mean 195 KILOMETERS per hour, not MILES per hour! How can anyone measure 195 accurately and what kind of bike will go tthat fast? A 'Busa won't unless you drop it from an airplane.

wow! well..there are rumors of a 1000cc version floating around so I thought it might be something new. I've been considering a Versys but since I have an 1100cc bike I was afraid I'd be diappointed with the performance of a 650. Maybe NOT!!!

what do you figure your top speed was during the ride?

it displayed 207km/h...Assuming a 5% fault to the speed sensor I would say it was about 195km/h

Regarding speed: at 195kph, did it feel like the bike would go any faster? What do you think the top speed of the bike is? 195kph is plenty fast, though!

I think 200-205 km/h is top, but check with some motorcycle magazine, they have accurate sensors to measure the the true top speed

I am a new older rider considering this bike, However I never intend to ride like this. Aren't you more a super sport rider than a versys rider? The tunnels are cool.

I used to have a Z750 but versys is more fun and easier to ride despite 30hp (or more) less than Z750... so I guess I am a versys rider...

I thought you mount with a hard fixed cam mount on fuel cap.

I used some adhesive tape and a plastic box which I taped on top of the fuel cap... and then taped the camera to the box... really ugly, but it worked!
