Choir is doing this song Sunday with a men's quintet. Rehearsed it tonight and I was in tears....such an amazing song!! there's something about men singing it too, gave me goosebumps.

This is really awesome. the passion and love these gentlemen are singing with to the Father is majestic.I came across the "Homecoming series" on tv about 3years ago. I have never heard such harmonies like these men of God has. I've been hooked every since. and the sings they sing are scriptured based,and this allow the anoiting to just flow from their singing. my heart have been overjoyed just looking and listening to these men and other singers on the program. When I listen to a song I listen to the words, I am not listening to see if I hear drums piano or electric guitar, If I did then I would be way to critical, like the Pharisees in Jesus' day, they tried so hard to find fault in everything He did and His disciples, they got their way when He was crucified. Though I know if it were not for Jesus dieing for my sins I would be lost. He is my Savior and I am so glad He loves me. My point is we should not be so critical when listening to a song.

I have been listening to this over and over during the last 6 weeks, and I still get goosebumps (at the same places). Clearly FINLANDIA on its own is powerful enough (it was outlawed in Finland by oppressors during WWII for arousing patriotic feelings), but these contemporary lyrics are 'gloriously' inspired.

What a wonderful Prayer this song is. What two wonderful groups singing together for the glory of God. I have this whole video, and it inspires me so much.
Is there anything more glorious than seeing people use their talents for God's glory? Not everyone can sing in such a heavenly way (I wish), but seeing their heart for the Lord inspires me to use the talents God has given me to praise Him also, and their singing gives me a glimpse of heaven.

I get goose-bumps every time I play this video! There are other versions of the song, performed in different places and time. But, I alway play this one just to hear Guy! What a minister of the gospel through his music! What a testimony he has. What a love for the Lord!

What a wonderful way to feel the Holy Spirit, through song. I feel so lifted up when I hear a song like this. One day I was going through a trial, and a tune began to go through my mind. Then I listened to see what it was. It was Bill Gaither singing "I then shall live, as one who's learned compassion." (2nd verse) I do know where I heard this song but I felt God wanted me to find it. I found it here and have played it over and over. Thank you so much for the song. It is a blessing.

The blessing of this beautiful hymn to our Lord Jesus is sort of spoiled by the presence of one of the singers who has long hair like a woman. Despite the fact that the inspired scripture says: "Doth not even nature itself teach you that it is a shame for a man to have long hair" In God's name, whoever you are. I hope that man with long hair like a woman is everything you say he is despite his violation of the clear teaching of the Holy Spirit as recorded in 1 Cor.11:14. Apart from the rotten and shameful example he is to young men with his girlish hair, he may be a real Christian, albeit a very ignorant one . The Gaither Vocal Band bass singer is Bill Gaither. The low one is Signiture Sounds Tim Duncan. Hes much deeper then Bill.

Is there anything more glorious than seeing people use their talents for God's glory? Not everyone can sing in such a heavenly way (I wish), but seeing their heart for the Lord inspires me to use the talents God has given me to praise Him also, and their singing gives me a glimpse of heaven.
