One of the forums had a posting claiming that they'd been to the Triumph NA dealer conference for 2010, and was told that Triumph are launching 5 new bikes in 3 market segments. one of which was supposed to be the baby tiger... it now looks like that may be two of the new models one as a GS/Adventure, one as a road bike similar to the Versys or VStrom. engine was rumoured ot be an 800 or 850 triple
the rumours of a baby tiger have been doing the rounds for 5+ years
If they have made improvements to to the Tiger along the same lines as the step up they made from the Sprint ST to GT then I am sure this will be a success.
I want one - like I wanted some other recent adventure type bikes - but excessive price was so VERY offputting so ain't gone there yet - Make it right Triumph and don't price it outta the market, you've got a real chace to clean up here.
@MWJAMES0 Didn't realize there were two until recently but I would like to see both. I'm more interested in the GS looking bike. Currently have an 04 Tiger, so I'm wondering if the GS looking bike might be a good replacement.
Hey! the rider is Finchy from "The Office" 0:35.

0:26 Should an Adventure bike be that low? Wanna bet it's yet another bike labeled "Enduro" that's really a street bike?

The first half of that looked like an Ad for the Mercedez Sprinter van! The rest is a tease though
dctim 1 year ago
That's the worse ad I've ever seen. Not a single shot of the bike to look at...geez, you couldn't wait for the proto-type to be finished

+1
Absolutely - I'm currently looking at the F800GS, TransAlp, Tenere...
If Triumph gets the price right then I'll be signing the order papers.
