@sfbowman72 we have went out countless times in all sorts of terain with other pickups and the titian not only keeps up but pushes through in alot of situations, most of the diesels sink and get stuck, unless you have the right set up. but keep it coming haha i like a good argument:)

only one question, when was the last time you saw a nissan titan pulling a heavy trailer, you know one that has more on the trailer than a few sticks that were in his yard and he couldnt put them in the bed because it would scratch that fancy japanese paint. I wont argue that according to this video the titan is faster however hook your POS nissan to my 2002 2500 HD with 8.1L/Ally combo and you have no chance.

Fellas a properly tuned d max will run low 13's and you add a shift kit and some stronger front end parts you are in he 12's. Just having a tuner isnt gonna make a truck fast. I have a tune just for towing on my cummins but for daily driving I like to run a 175 tune and beat up on mach1 stang and GT stang's , lt1's and gto's I come up against. As for turcks I have yet to have anything come within 3 lengths of me. Closest was a supercharged tundra. BTW boosted launches are hard in 2wd.

ford has international building Fords design. the origional plans for the duramax engine were designed in part with isuzu but it was about 60%gm and 40% isuzu and duramax is made right here in the usa. cummins r built strong tho

I just traded off my POS 2008 Silverado because it did nothing but go in the shop for transmission issues and to top it off GM would not honor their 100,000 powertrain warranty. So yes they do suck. About your towing Max towing is 9,500lbs so get your facts straight. On top of that you are comparing apples to oranges so what is your point. One is heavy duty the other is not. An HD truck cost about 10 to 15k more than a Titan too.
