As for why trolls are working for goblins, goblins used to be very stupid slaves who mined Kaja-mite (probable misspelling) for the trolls' voodoo rituals. Exposure made the goblins incredibly smart and allowed them to overthrow the trolls and create their own empire based on trade. The trolls and goblins essentially traded places.
