@KissingKatastrophii Maybe or perhaps you didn't have the ability to train it properly. My maltese learned to go on the dog diaper instinctually when it was a puppy. Sometimes it would go a little outside the perimeter but that changed within a couple months. My friend who has a big dog pays over $50 a month to feed his dog, I paid $12 every 3 months to feed mine, and that was top quality food too (non rice, soy, corn). That alone is a HUGE incentive to opt for a smaller dog.

Bullmastiff, Chihuahuas, Pit bull, Dachshund, Maltese, Doberman, Border Collie, and we live on a farm so they get plenty filthy I know what it takes to house feed groom and manage them.

The challenge of developing new fighting techniques and your skill in effectively teaching your dog these techniques is what makes the sport so entertaining. It's similar to MMA but with dogs instead of humans. Pitbulls were specifically bred for this purpose NOT as family pets. They should require licenses for these dogs, you wouldn't let any random person own a dangerous wild animal, same should go for pitbulls.

2.They don't stink as bad or sweat as much
3.They are easier to bathe when they do stink
4.They don't require walking to the degree that larger dogs do.

@KissingKatastrophii Maybe or perhaps you didn't have the ability to train it properly. My maltese learned to go on the dog diaper instinctually when it was a puppy. Sometimes it would go a little outside the perimeter but that changed within a couple months. My friend who has a big dog pays over $50 a month to feed his dog, I paid $12 every 3 months to feed mine, and that was top quality food too (non rice, soy, corn). That alone is a HUGE incentive to opt for a smaller dog.

@botchalism lol never heard it called a diaper before...a diaper is a diaper a pee pad or puppy pad is not a "dog diaper" I actually have a dog of every size and hair length. Bullmastiff, Chihuahuas, Pit bull, Dachshund, Maltese, Doberman, Border Collie, and we live on a farm so they get plenty filthy I know what it takes to house feed groom and manage them.

@Koodoze I know. You could just see it in his eyes and body language that he was ready to just snatch that little dog up in a heartbeat. I know they're trying to rehabilitate the small dogs but why the hell use a pit that's obviously so eager to dominate/attack the little guy?! Why not a lab to get them used to large dogs again, then send in a gentle pit like Daddy (Ceasar Milan's old dog). It just seemed cruel to me. Poor little dogs looked like they were having post-traumatic flashbacks :(

Most of the time, if the smaller dog shows any form of fear or submissiveness towards the larger dog, regardless the breed, the larger dog will think of them as a plaything.

Oh I have a nice little outcome for people that do this to animals. Have you ever seen wildlife shows where the mosquitos and blackflies are so bad in Alaska and Canada even large animals lose a lot of blood and keep panicking and running to water to escape the torture. You strip these useless idiots to just small underwear - tie them to a tree. Then let the mosquito and blackflie swarms have fun with them for several days. If they survive maybe they will learn something if not... oh well!

The challenge of developing new fighting techniques and your skill in effectively teaching your dog these techniques is what makes the sport so entertaining. It's similar to MMA but with dogs instead of humans. Pitbulls were specifically bred for this purpose NOT as family pets. They should require licenses for these dogs, you wouldn't let any random person own a dangerous wild animal, same should go for pitbulls.

@firestormed1 Yeah they do, but boxing is actually a much more fatal sport and head trauma is much more prevalent then in MMA due to taking much higher number of hits to the head. You have more hits to the head in one round of boxing then you do in a typical mma fight.

Forced to eat corn they can't even digest, suffering from severe gas to the point of severe infection, which is staved off by pumping them full of antibiotics and hormones, all the while wading in a foot high level of feces. I think the baby calves that are butchered early and made into veal have it better, at least they enjoy a quick death versus a prolonged life of misery.

@botchalism The dogs did not ask for it, and besides all of the MMA stuff is in a controlled enviroment and they are not fighting to the death, and they're also not killed when they lose a few fights, or being thrown in a pit as bait for the rest of the guys to ''practise'' on. It's sick and twisted, and whoever calls it a sport really needs a check-up because I'm not sure if you are mentally healthy.
